This policy describes the current version of Tiny Tides for Android and iOS, which stores game progress on the device and does not offer game-account sign-in or game-managed cloud saving.
Tiny Tides is free to download, is intended for players aged 13 and over, and has no in-game purchases. Its intended distribution area is worldwide except Vietnam and China. Advertising may be available depending on the platform and release version.
Tiny Tides stores completed levels, the selected level, music and sound settings, vibration, language, and tutorial/Sea Guide information in app storage. This supports gameplay and restores progress and preferences between sessions. This progress is not uploaded to a game-account service by the current version.
When upgrading from an older version, the game may adopt active progress already saved on that installation. Inactive account-specific saves, earlier deletion-request information, and migration records may remain on the device. These records are not used for account sign-in or cloud synchronization.
Your operating system may back up or transfer app storage under its own settings. These copies are managed separately by the platform. Clearing app data or uninstalling may remove local data, while restoring an operating-system backup may bring previously removed data back. Cross-device recovery and restoration after reinstalling are not guaranteed.
Tiny Tides integrates Google Mobile Ads/AdMob and may use Unity Ads through AdMob mediation. When these services operate, they may collect, receive, use, and share information for serving ads, measuring advertising performance, diagnosing problems, and preventing fraud.
The information may include:
IP address and approximate location inferred from it.
Device and app information, such as operating system and app version.
Advertising identifiers and other permitted device, app, or account-related identifiers.
App and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps, video views, and ads displayed.
Performance and diagnostic information, such as launch time, crashes, and SDK errors.
The information processed depends on the platform, SDK, permissions, device settings, privacy choices, and provider. Ad measurement may include analytics performed by advertising services; local game saving does not mean that the app processes no data.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on applicable requirements and your choices. Non-personalized ads may still involve processing information for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Google explains its advertising data practices here.
Where applicable and available, Google's User Messaging Platform presents privacy messages. A Privacy Choices option appears in Settings when the consent service requires it, allowing you to reopen the available choices. You may also use device advertising or tracking controls. These options may differ by region, platform, and version. Choosing to watch an optional rewarded ad does not replace any separate consent required for data processing.
Provider policies and choices are available at Google Privacy Policy and Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. Advertising providers and their disclosed partners may process data under their own responsibilities.
If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include, such as a problem description, screenshots, or logs. We use this information to answer your request, investigate the issue, and handle related follow-up.
Nguyễn Văn Chi personally handles correspondence through Gmail at nguyenvanchiit2001@gmail.com. We aim to provide an initial response to ordinary support enquiries within 7 working days. This does not replace legal deadlines for exercising privacy rights.
Please send only information needed for your request. Do not send passwords, sign-in tokens, or unnecessary sensitive information. Support correspondence is not used by us for advertising personalization.
Local information supports gameplay and preferences. Support correspondence is used to assist players, investigate problems, and respond to requests. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on our legitimate interest in providing this support, limited to information necessary for that purpose and subject to your applicable rights. We process information to comply with legal obligations where required. Consent is used for advertising-related processing where applicable law requires it; consent can be withdrawn through the available privacy controls.
Support information is handled by the operator and Google as the email service provider. Advertising information is processed by Google/AdMob, Unity Ads when used, and their disclosed service and advertising partners. Necessary information may also be disclosed where legally required or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
Google Play, the Apple App Store, and operating-system backup services may process information independently when you download, update, or back up the app. Their own policies explain that processing.
An earlier closed-testing version used Google/Facebook sign-in and Firebase cloud progress. The current version does not provide those features. The sign-in providers have been disabled, and client access to the former Firestore progress service has been blocked.
On October 13, 2026, the three Firebase test accounts confirmed to belong to the operator and their two cloud-save records were deleted. This does not erase copies on devices, previous logs or backups, or information held independently by Google, Meta, or other providers. It also does not delete the underlying Google or Facebook accounts.
For questions about historical information or a previous request, contact us at the email above.
Local saves and preferences remain in app storage until changed or removed, subject to operating-system backups. We cannot remotely erase copies stored only on your device.
Support emails are retained while a request is being handled and for up to 6 months after it is resolved. Necessary information may be retained longer during an ongoing dispute or where a legal obligation requires it. We limit such retention to what is needed and review it when the reason ends.
The confirmed Firebase test accounts and cloud-save records described above have been deleted. Any remaining historical logs, backups, or request records are separate from those deleted records. Information under our control is retained only as necessary for handling outstanding requests, security, or legal obligations, and is reviewed for deletion when the purpose ends.
Advertising, email-provider backups, store information, and other independently managed records follow the relevant provider's retention rules. The 6-month support period is not a retention promise for all providers or all information.
The operator is based in Vietnam. Support and advertising information may be processed in Vietnam and other countries where the relevant providers operate. Provider policies describe their international processing and transfer safeguards. Contact us for questions concerning information handled by us.
Local saves are held in app storage; this policy does not promise that save files are encrypted. Support is handled personally by the operator, and we ask you to minimize the information you send. The former account/cloud progress service remains closed to app clients. Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads Unity plugin is encrypted during transmission using TLS. No device, service, storage system, or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
You can change game settings, use available advertising privacy choices, and remove local app data through device controls. The current version has no game account to delete.
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a relevant data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing based on that consent.
To make a request concerning information handled by us, email nguyenvanchiit2001@gmail.com and describe the request. We may ask for proportionate information needed to identify the relevant records and verify that the request is yours. We do not ask for account passwords or sign-in tokens. Requests are handled within applicable legal deadlines, and we will explain any applicable limitations or retention requirements.
For records controlled independently by an advertising or platform provider, you may also contact that provider using its privacy channels. We cannot promise direct access to or deletion of records outside our control.
Tiny Tides is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not intended for children under 13. Players aged 13 or over may still be minors or require parental permission under applicable law. An intended age range does not establish the actual age of every player.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe information concerning a child has been provided to us, contact the privacy email above so we can review the matter and take the steps required by applicable law.
Updates to this policy will be published on our Google Sites website with their effective date and last-updated date. Material changes will also be communicated through store release notes. Additional notice or fresh consent will be provided where required; publishing an update does not itself obtain consent.
For privacy questions or requests, contact Nguyễn Văn Chi / NVC Coder at nguyenvanchiit2001@gmail.com, Hung Yen, Viet Nam.
