This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use our mobile application, Tinnitus Masking Therapy (the "Application" or "App").
By installing and using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Our App is designed to protect your privacy. Most of the data you enter is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
A. Local Data (Device-Only Storage)
We collect and store the following data locally within the App’s secure internal database (Room Database) on your mobile device:
Tinnitus Discomfort & Loudness Logs: Tracking logs you input to monitor your symptoms.
Personal Notes: Daily notes you write regarding your therapy progress.
Custom Mix Presets: The volume configurations and sound combinations you customize and save.
Focus Schedule/Habit Tracker: Your checked tasks and avoidance lists.
NOTE
This local data is never sent to our servers. It remains 100% private on your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete this local data.
B. Network Permissions & Device Identifiers
To support core monetization features, the App requests network permissions (INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) to communicate with third-party service providers.
The App integrates third-party software development kits (SDKs) provided by Google to handle advertising and subscriptions. These providers may collect data directly from your device according to their own privacy policies:
A. Google AdMob (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements in the App (for free-tier users). AdMob may automatically collect and process:
Device Identifiers: Such as the Google Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, and browser/device specifications.
Ad Interaction Data: Information about how you interact with ads displayed in the App.
Location Data: Approximate location based on your network connection to deliver relevant advertising.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Android Device Settings under Settings > Privacy > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
B. Google Play Billing (Subscriptions)
We use Google Play Billing to process premium subscription purchases.
All financial transactions, credit cards, or local payment methods (such as GoPay, DANA, Telkomsel carrier billing, etc.) are processed securely by Google Play Services.
We do not collect, store, or have access to your bank accounts, credit card numbers, or transaction credentials.
Our App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
