Work on problem on Probability Activity.
Careful to do this right, otherwise it will give you a bad clue.
I will explain this activity that students are trying to solve a mystery as a class. We will go over over the case, and that they will be answering probability questions to get clues. They should of already completed the first question which should give them a clue to find a QR code around the room, for a second problem. Some of the QR codes are hidden in plain site, some are inside a book, etc.
Students will be warned that getting something wrong will result in a clue to a much harder problem to get back on track.
The orders of what clue students get is randomized so they won't all be at the same QR code or questions at the same time.
When you have collected all the evidence, students are instructed to go back to their seat and make a conclusion about the mystery.
When all students are instructed to go back to their seats, we will go over the clues, etc.
