Ordeals

Tindeuchen Ordeals

In order for an individual to become part of the Order of the Arrow, they must undergo an Ordeal. The sash that is worn by members of the OA represents brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service. These same concepts are often carried throughout the OA. Tindeuchen Lodge has four Ordeals every year. We have two Ordeals in the Spring and two Ordeals in the Fall. If you would like to learn more about Ordeals, please feel free to contact our Vice Chief of American Indian Affairs, Xavier at Ceremonies.Tindeuchen@gmail.com

Our Next Ordeal

Tindeuchen's next ordeal will be at Pioneer Scout Reservation. The Ordeal will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 19th, and will end around 10:00 am on Sunday, March 21st. The Ordeal will be finished in the afternoon and we will then immediately go into a session of fellowship. The cost of the ordeal is $60.00. This fee helps pay for your sash, handbook, Lodge dues for the current year and food.

How You can Help

We are almost always in need for more people to help us with our Ordeals. In order for the Lodge to properly have an Ordeal, we generally need between 10 and 15 members to volunteer as staff. Volunteer positions range from Elangomats to Ceremony Team members and everything in between. If you are interested in joining us in our next Ordeal, please feel free to contact us.
