TH Group ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Tien Thang News mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, how it may be shared, and the choices available to users.
By installing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the App's news, community, map, tourism, and local product features.
Account Optional Use
In the current version, users may access and browse the App without signing in. When you use the App without an account, we do not collect account profile information such as your name, email address, phone number, or profile photo.
Account-related information is collected only when you choose to sign in, register, or use features that require an account, such as posting content, commenting, uploading media, managing product listings, or using administrator features when available.
Account and Profile Information
If you choose to sign in, register, or use account-related features, we may collect:
• Name or display name
• Email address
• Phone number, birth year, gender, and address when provided during registration
• Profile photo or avatar when provided by you or your sign-in provider
• Login credentials or authentication tokens needed to keep you signed in
If you use Google Sign-In, Google may provide us with your name, email address, profile photo, and authentication token so we can verify your identity and create or access your account.
Content You Create or Upload
When you use community, news, comment, reaction, sharing, or marketplace features, we may collect and store:
• Posts, comments, reactions, and shared content
• Product listing details such as product name, price, category, origin, description, and images
• Uploaded photos, videos, documents, or links that you attach to posts or listings
• Author name, avatar, timestamps, and related metadata needed to display content in the App
Location Information
With your permission, the App may access your device location while you use map-related features.
Location is used to:
• Show your current position on the map
• Calculate distances to tourist spots, places, or local points of interest
• Center the map around your area
The App does not request background location access for continuous tracking.
If you deny location permission, the App may use a default map center and some location-based features may be limited.
Device Permissions and Files
Depending on the feature you use, the App may request access to:
• Internet: to connect to our API services, load remote images, map data, and app content
• Camera: to take photos for posts, product listings, or profile images when this feature is available on your device
• Photo library / media picker: to select photos or videos for posts, product listings, or profile images
• File picker: to attach documents or other files to posts
We access these files only after you choose them through the App.
Local Storage and Cache
The App may store limited data on your device, including:
• Access tokens, refresh tokens, and user ID used for login sessions
• Login preference such as whether you skipped login
• Cached user, trip, map, place, and category data in local storage
• Temporary media/cache files created by the operating system or app libraries
You can remove local data by logging out where available, clearing the App's data/cache, or uninstalling the App.
Technical and Server Log Data
When the App communicates with our servers, standard technical information may be processed automatically, such as IP address, request time, API endpoint, device/browser network information, error logs, and diagnostic data.
We use this information to operate, secure, debug, and improve the App.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
• Provide login, registration, account, and session features
• Display news, comments, reactions, notifications, maps, tourist places, and local product listings
• Upload and display media or files selected by users
• Calculate distances and improve map interactions
• Maintain tenant/community-specific content for Tien Thang
• Prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and secure our services
• Respond to support, deletion, or privacy requests
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and platform requirements
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information only in the following cases:
• With our service providers: vendors and infrastructure providers that help us operate authentication, hosting, APIs, storage, map display, and app delivery.
• With third-party sign-in providers: when you choose Google Sign-In, information is exchanged with Google to authenticate your account.
• With other users: content you publish, such as posts, comments, author name, avatar, product listings, images, and attachments, may be visible to other App users.
• For legal or safety reasons: when required by law, to protect our rights, investigate abuse, enforce policies, or protect users and the public.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses or may interact with third-party services, including:
• Google Sign-In: user authentication
• Google Play Services / Apple platform services: app distribution, updates, and operating system features
• OpenStreetMap tile services: map tile display
• Google Maps: opening directions to a selected place when you choose this action
• Google Fonts: app typography
• Device media/file picker services: selecting images, videos, or files from your device
These third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies.
We encourage you to review their privacy terms.
5. Advertising and Analytics
The App is currently ad-free.
We do not sell personal data to advertising networks and do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the current project.
The current project does not include Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
If analytics or crash reporting is added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or at the time those features are released.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
• Account information: retained while your account remains active or as needed for support, security, and legal obligations.
• Published content: retained while it remains published or until deleted by an authorized user or through a valid deletion request.
• Uploaded media and files: retained as needed to display posts, attachments, product listings, or profile content.
• Local cache: stored on your device until cleared by the App, your device settings, logout, or uninstall.
• Server logs: retained for a limited period for security, debugging, and operational purposes unless a longer retention period is required by law.
7. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at:

After receiving and verifying your request, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate operational reasons.
Data that may be deleted includes your profile information, email address, uploaded user content, posts, comments, product listings, and related account data where technically and legally possible.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including authenticated API access and local session storage.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your device, account credentials, and sign-in provider account secure.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International Data Processing
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your province, state, or country.
By using the App, you consent to such processing where necessary to provide the App.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
Changes are effective when posted in this Privacy Policy or otherwise made available to users.
