Timothée Leleu

I have been studying the mechanisms of neural computation from the applied mathematics perspective, constructing theoretical models, and applying them to solve real-world problems. I am primarily interested in the combinatorial aspects of neural computation, with a particular focus on the analysis of neuronal activity for the inference of network structure and the use of artificial neural networks for solving combinatorial optimization problems. I enjoy multi-disciplinary research and been enthusiastic about the development of specialized hardware (either in electronics or photonics). I strongly believe novel ideas are often born out of casual discussions; do not hesitate to contact me if you share some interests.
