## Privacy Policy for TimerWork
TimerWork ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension collects, uses, and discloses information.
### 1. Data Collection and Usage
**Personal Information:**
TimerWork does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to external servers.
**Local Data:**
All user preferences, alarm settings, and timer states are stored locally on your device using the browser's `chrome.storage` API. This data never leaves your browser instance.
**AI Features:**
If you use the "AI Smart Plan" feature, the text prompt you enter is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the response. No other personal data is included in this request.
### 2. Permissions
We request the minimum permissions necessary for functionality:
- **Alarms**: To schedule background timers and alarms.
- **Storage**: To save your settings locally.
- **Notifications**: To alert you when a timer completes.
- **ActiveTab / Scripting**: To inject the floating "Nano Widget" onto the current webpage only when you explicitly click the widget button.
### 3. Third-Party Services
TimerWork utilizes Google Gemini API for AI planning features. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle API requests.
### 4. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the extension's store listing.
### 5. Contact
