AT A GLANCE
No accounts, no sign-in. TimerCal never asks for your name, email, or any identifying information.
Your calendar never leaves your device. Matching happens locally — we don't operate a server that could see it even if we wanted to.
No analytics, no ads, no trackers. The app doesn't include any third-party SDK that watches how you use it.
Webhooks go where you point them, nowhere else. If you turn that feature on, data goes straight from your device to the address you typed in. We never see it.
OVERVIEW TimerCal is a timer app with optional calendar-triggered alarms and webhook automation. This policy explains, plainly, what the app can access on your device and what happens to it — because the honest answer is: almost nothing leaves your phone.
TimerCal doesn't run its own servers. There is no TimerCal backend collecting or storing your information anywhere. Everything described below either stays on your device or, where you explicitly configure it, goes directly to a destination you chose.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Your presets, timer history, theme and sound choices, and calendar sync settings are all stored locally on your device using Android's standard app storage. None of it is transmitted to us, because we have nothing to transmit it to.
CALENDAR ACCESS
If you turn on "Ring from calendar reminders," TimerCal reads your device's calendar to find events whose title contains a keyword you chose, so it can ring at the right time. This scan happens entirely on your device.
Calendar event titles and times are read locally to decide when to trigger an alarm — that's the only use.
No calendar content is sent to us, logged anywhere, or shared with any third party.
You can revoke calendar access at any time in your device's app settings; the feature simply stops working until access is granted again.
WEBHOOK AUTOMATION Webhooks are off by default and entirely optional. If you enable one and enter a URL, a calendar-triggered alarm will send that address a message containing the event title, the relevant times, and the keyword that matched.
That request goes directly from your device to the URL you typed — not through us. We don't operate, log, or have any visibility into that destination. You're responsible for choosing a URL you trust, the same way you would with any tool that posts to a webhook you configure.
SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENT Calendar sync and webhook automation are part of TimerCal Pro, offered as a subscription with a free trial through Google Play Billing. All payment handling — your card details, billing address, purchase history — is managed entirely by Google; TimerCal never sees or stores that information.
The app checks your subscription status through Google Play and keeps a small local record of whether Pro features are currently unlocked, so they keep working correctly offline.
PERMISSIONS USED Android requires apps to declare upfront what they might use. Here's what TimerCal asks for and why:
Notifications — To show the running timer and ring an alert when it finishes.
Calendar (read-only) — Only used if you enable calendar sync — see Section 3.
Exact alarms — So a timer or calendar alert rings at precisely the right second.
Battery optimization exemption — Optional; prevents the OS from delaying background alarms.
DATA SHARING
We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. TimerCal contains no advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs of any kind — there is no third party we could share data with even accidentally.
DELETING YOUR DATA
Uninstalling TimerCal removes everything stored locally — presets, settings, and scheduled alarms. Since nothing is stored on any server we control, there's nothing further for us to delete on our end.
CHILDREN
TimerCal is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised effective date at the top.
