- Ensures countdown accuracy even when screen is off
- Released immediately when timer completes or is stopped

- Shows timer progress in the notification bar

- Allows quick controls (Pause/Resume/Stop) from notification
- Required on Android 13+ for all apps showing notifications
**Exact Alarms:**
- Ensures timer alarm triggers at the precise completion time
