BIOGRAPHY.
Yarnaby is a plush lion toy that was created by Playtime Co. during the 1980s. At some point in the 1990s, Yarnaby was one of the many toys that they used for the Bigger Bodies Initiative.
Quinn Navidson was an orphan in the Playcare. Quinn was originally from parents who were very abusive before he was taken out of their care. Quinn gained the attention from counselors due to his abnormal behavior such as cutting the heads off of his toys and his mediocre performance at the Game Station. This also caught the attention of Doctor Sawyer, the main scientist in charge of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. Quinn was picked to become the bigger body counterpart of Yarnaby.
Following the procedure, many of the scientists noticed Yarnaby’s loyalty and obedience towards certain scientists, including Sawyer. Seeing this as an opportunity to mold Yarnaby, Sawyer saw to it that Yarnaby was isolated from everyone except Sawyer, ensuring that Yarnaby was loyal only to him.
While he intended to make Yarnaby his personal guard, Sawyer was soon “removed” from the project. This left Yarnaby unresponsive and in a grief-stricken state. This caused the other scientists to deem Yarnaby as a failure. Following the Hour of Joy, however, Yarnaby was able to go back to serving Dr. Sawyer (now as a digital conscious).
