Timekeepers: Nostalgic Alarms (com.rmcreater.timekeepers) is an alarm clock app published by RMCreater. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
In short: no account is needed, and your alarms, clocks and memory notes stay on your phone. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your phone's advertising ID and basic device information.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you create stays on your phone, in the app's private storage: your alarms (times, repeat days, labels, the clock you chose for each, and snooze and vibration choices); your settings (for example time format, Simple Mode and numeral style); memory notes you write on clocks in the museum (for example "Nani's clock in Pune"); and backup files, only if you choose "Save to file", and only where you choose to save them.
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We do not run any servers and have no accounts.
Ads
The app is free and shows a small banner ad on the home, museum and settings screens. Ads never appear on the alarm ringing screen or while you set an alarm.
The ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google: your phone's advertising ID (you can reset or delete it in your phone's Google settings); device and app information such as phone model, operating system version, language and app version; approximate location derived from your IP address; and ad interactions such as ads viewed and tapped, plus diagnostic information about the SDK.
Data is encrypted in transit. How Google uses this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Your choice: if you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or a region with similar rules, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in Settings, About, Ad privacy choices. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised ads.
What the app does not do
No accounts, analytics or crash reporting of our own. It does not read your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or camera. The camera light is used only if you turn on "Flash the camera light" for alarms; this needs no camera permission and takes no pictures. It does not sell your personal data.
Permissions and why
Internet, network state and advertising ID: only to load and show ads (added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK).
Notifications: to show the alarm screen and alarm reminders.
Exact alarms: so alarms ring at the exact minute.
Full-screen notifications: to show Snooze and Stop over the lock screen.
Run at startup: to restore alarms after the phone restarts.
Foreground service, wake lock and vibration: to keep ringing reliably, and to tick you to sleep if you ask.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete any alarm or note at any time. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your phone's settings (Settings, Google, Ads, or Settings, Privacy, Ads, depending on the phone).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
