Short version: TimeFade works completely offline. Your countdown data never leaves your device. We do not collect, store, or sell personal information.

TimeFade is a fully offline app. We do not collect:
Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
Your countdown events, titles, or dates
Your location
Your photos or images (background images stay on your device)
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Crash reports
All app data — including your countdowns, settings, and any custom background images — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS and Android storage (SharedPreferences / UserDefaults). This data:
Never leaves your device
Is deleted when you uninstall the app
Is not backed up to any server operated by us
TimeFade offers an optional Premium subscription processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.
RevenueCat may collect:
An anonymous device identifier (not linked to your identity)
Purchase and subscription status information
This information is used solely to verify your subscription and unlock premium features. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
We never see your payment details. All billing is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
If you use the in-app support form, your message is sent via your device's default mail app directly to our support email address. We use the information only to respond to your inquiry and do not store it beyond what is necessary to resolve your issue.
TimeFade is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
The only third-party service used by TimeFade is RevenueCat for subscription management (described in Section 4). We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social media integrations.
Since TimeFade does not transmit your personal data to any server, the risk of a data breach affecting your countdown data is effectively zero. RevenueCat uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all communications.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), or other applicable laws, including:
The right to know what data we hold about you
The right to delete your data
The right to opt out of data sales (we do not sell data)
Since we hold virtually no personal data, the primary way to exercise these rights is to uninstall the app (which deletes all local data) or contact us at support@simonpapps.com to request deletion of any support correspondence.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
