During Time Machine, students wrestle with a prisoner’s dilemma that the signers of the Declaration faced: if they are united their revolution succeeds, if they are divided their revolution fails. At the end of the unit they take a vote; if they are unanimous in rebellion, they have succeeded. 

The real objective of this lesson is to encourage loyalty to one another, collaboration, trust, and many other characteristics of “the profile of a Heritage graduate.” How well can you persuade your classmates to trust each other. Your speech grade depends on it.
