Lewis and Clark

This Time Machine is an outdoor exploration, requiring students to work in teams and use quill and ink. One student is the cartographer (map-maker), one the diarist, one the artist, and one the Captain. There is a list of seven or so items that they have to find, map, and draw in their expedition. Their instructions come in the form of a letter from President Jefferson (available upon request). One principal objective is to expose students to the difficulty of writing with quill while walking.
