1960s

The 1960s was the decade of Vietnam and Civil Rights. We have addressed Civil Rights prior to and on our interim trip and field trip. A Vietnam veteran, Phil Hanna, comes in as our guest speaker as well.

The 60s continued to be characterized by the growth of popular music, with the sounds of Elvis and the Beatles being constantly heard everywhere.
