The Deep Freeze allows for instant sound freezing in three modes of operation. Latch freezes sound each time the footswitch is pressed until the effect is bypassed, while Moment mode freezes sound only while the footswitch is held down. Auto mode captured sound automatically each time it senses signal above its threshold for virtually foot-free freezes. These three modes make it easy to operate the Deep Freeze in a way that fits any playing style.

Controls on the Deep Freeze let you further tailor the operation of the effect. Separate DRY and EFFECT volume controls let you blend signals from subtle backing to 100% effect experimentation. GLISS adjusts the morph time between freeze sounds creating otherworldly soundscapes. The SPEED/LAYER knob adjusts either the attack/decay time of the effect in Moment and Auto modes, or the amount of layering possible in Latch mode which makes playing impossible chords possible!

I am able to play background music with no problem, but when I try to play a sound effect, the interface freezes for a couple of seconds (the music keeps playing) and then when it unfreezes, I get the Windows error sound.

I think the QML Audio element is a wrapper around QSound, which cannot access sound files from Qt Resource File System (Mentioned in the Document)Note that QSound does not support resources. This might be fixed in a future Qt version.. Regarding the Windows warning/error sound, I guess, playing the sound effect may be blocking the main UI thread.

Leverage the tools in Adobe After Effects to create unique speed ramps, constant speed change, and freeze frames. Apply these speed effects to make your video editing and motion design projects more dynamic and engaging.

Select the top layer, right-click, and select Freeze Frame or use Layer > Time > Freeze Frame. The layer now freezes. To mimic a popular TV show, apply the Black & White effect to the frozen clip and add a sound effect when it freezes.

Assigning switching functions to the Effect Buttons is simple: just press and hold an Effect Button on the Remote for example Effect Button IIII and press the desired module button, e.g. Module D, on the front panel of the PROFILER at the same time. Done! In your press the freeze soft button.

This will playback the sound effect once, at full volume. The play method on a single Sound instance can be called many times in a row, e.g. for a sequence of shots in a game, and will be overlaid accordingly.

As stated on an Audio topic the Android has many issues with audio in general. One of them, is that waiting for sound ID might take quite a lot time. The sounds in Libgdx are playing synchronously by default. It causes main loop to be frozen for significant time if you play a lot of sounds at once. Especially this issue noticeable on Android 10.

Description: Time stop sound effect. Cinematic slow motion sound. Can be used in video games, movies, animations, cartoons, and TV shows to create the impression of time coming to a halt. It frequently appears in moments when a character has the power to alter time or where it seems to have stopped. Online SFX library free mp3 download.

With the addition of a brand new modulation section and the ability to set up multiple settings of time and damping and decay freezing (via the A/B comparison function) this plug-in delivers amazing options for creative use. Add to that some other amazing new additions such as a high pass filter section, independent dry/wet controls, and a reverb tail freeze control, it's easy to see how PianoVerb2 has become a comprehensive and truly unique algorithmic reverb.

PSP PianoVerb2 is not really an upgrade from the previous free pianoverb but a powerful reverb plugin tailored & aimed at the piano ( although I've just tried it on guitars ). It can make even average piano sounds (real or sampled) sound magnificent, adding release, space and subtle pitch modulation to a static cold sound. The really cool feature is the Freeze mode which captures a moment in time, but also has a "sound on sound" effect with each new note added to the freeze sound - very cool Indeed.

PSP PianoVerb2 is a really unique and fun tool for creative process. The concept of the original PSP PianoVerb was innovative to start with. Now this version 2 has A/B switch and Freeze feature to be more creative tool. I started having fun with jumping between 2 settings as well as occasional Freeze for dramatic effects controlled by DAW automation, I now hooked it up with MIDI pedal to do the same in real-time for my live performance. The response is quick and all the switching is very smooth. In recent trend, reverb has been pushed away by impulse based emulators. We forgot what reverb brings to the creative processes. PSP PianoVerb2 is not only rich sounding reverb effect, it brings unique timber to the reverb world, added with deep modulator for you to go crazy if you wish. I have been having so much fun with this plug-in.

The unusual lo-fi and pitch-glitching effects were literally one of a kind at the time. It came stock with 128 milliseconds of delay, and could be optionally upgraded to 256 (for a substantial fee). Like many classic pieces of audio gear, over time, the limitations or imperfections are often what create the character that people come to love. In the case of the Prime Time, RAM was expensive, so in an attempt to get the most from the least, the engineers came up with the multiply function to increase delay time at the expense of sonic quality. That limitation is what was exploited to make this a highly sought after sound, and that sound is what drove us to create PrimalTap.

The Electro-Harmonix Pico Deep Freeze Sound Retainer/Sustainer is a powerful and compact pedal that can take your sound manipulation to new levels. This pedal allows you to freeze a moment in your sound, serving as a sustain pedal to hold chords and notes as a backdrop to your playing or as a canvas for crafting unique tones that would be impossible with a standard guitar.

It builds upon the capabilities of the original Freeze pedal and adds layering, adjustable attack/decay speeds, glissando, dedicated volume controls, and three distinct modes: Latch, Moment, and Auto which give you a wide range of sonic possibilities.

Controls on the Deep Freeze allow you to fine-tune the effect. Separate DRY and EFFECT volume controls enable you to blend signals from subtle backing to full-effect experimentation. The GLISS knob adjusts the morph time between frozen sounds, creating ethereal soundscapes. The SPEED/LAYER knob varies the attack/decay time in Moment and Auto modes, or the amount of layering in Latch mode, opening up possibilities for playing complex chords effortlessly.

I'm leaving this here for posterity. I've been through searches from specific to Skyrim SE to as broad as GPU and Steam. I've found the issue is caused across AMD and NVIDIA, many different games, many different drivers, but some say just Steam games.

I've been playing and having this issue for over a decade. I may have found a solution.

The rabbit hole led me to MSI Afterburner. Threads suggested downloading it and *UNDERCLOCKING* the core clock and the memory clock. Some have found success with -25 values, others -200 and -500 respectively. I have found success with -100 in both.

An immediately observable change as that my character was dual wielding Dawn/Duskfang and a mod-added scimitar with no animation. It always looked like I had two scimitars. After changing these values, The correct swords show every time.

With my limited understanding of hardware, I can only guess the Skyrim engine cannot keep up, therefore it freezes the display while the sound continues.

I will put this in the [SOLVED] category, for now.

This is the problem, as I experienced it:

Wet & Cold Version 2.4.0 IN COMBINATION WITH Survival mode.

The Wet & Cold Anti-freezing patch did not help.

All unofficial patches up to date.

These caused freezes with the background music continuing to play, multiple times an hour regardless of location, weather, and such.

People more knowledgeable than me determined the scripts for the wet-cold-ash effects on the player were the problem. Something to do with polling.

I tested this by disabling Wet & Cold in the MCM and no freezing.

Although it is NOT best practice, I replaced Isoku's version with Wet & Cold Gear mid-playthrough, without doing a "clean save" in between.

At the same time, I removed The Anti-Freezing patch.

To get the wet-cold-ash effects back, I installed R.A.S.S. Rain Ash And Snow Shaders - Wet Frost Cold Dust which uses a different method of applying the effects.

Hey everyone! I have a question about the Interactive Card project. I have a student trying to use a sound effect, but every time the condition is met the sound effect keeps looping. I have tried everything I can think of to no avail. I am hoping someone here can help me out. Here is a screenshot of the code used in the draw loop.

So I applied a timewarp reverse to the clip (which is originally 31 seconds long) at -1000%. My clip then becomes a freeze frame of the last frame of the clip. The whole 31 seconds is a freeze frame. I have to drag out both ends of my clip to find where the footage starts moving to get to clip I originally wanted.

So, as it turns out, I was being dense. And thank you for taking the time.

Still, whether I load a raw clip or a multicam on the timeline and apply the -1000% effect to it, I get a freeze frame of the last frame. I don't understand that behavior - is it considered useful in some scenarios?

The reason for this is that the sound play is just a request to the OS to activate whatever is required to decode the mp3 and play it. And the reason why the system does not wait until it is finished is because you need to be able to run sound simultaneously, like when a game will have to feature background music and sound effects. 006ab0faaa
