TimeBudget is a personal productivity app that helps you calculate daily available time and plan tasks on a calendar.
The App works completely offline
The App does not require login or an account
The App does not use a backend server
The App does not collect, sell, or share personal data
Your plans and settings stay on your device only
TimeBudget stores the following information locally on your device using on-device storage (AsyncStorage):
Daily time budget inputs (sleep, work, study, travel, meals, breaks, personal time)
Tasks (name, date, duration, optional start/end time, priority, category, notes)
Planned and actual time
Task completion status
Daily and weekly productivity statistics
Theme preference (light, dark, or system)
This information is used only to provide the App’s features on your device.
TimeBudget does not collect:
Name, email, phone number, or account details
Location data
Contacts
Photos or media
Payment information
Device advertising IDs
Analytics or crash data from our own servers
Browsing history
The App does not request sensitive device permissions for camera, microphone, location, contacts, or storage access beyond its own local app data.
Your local data is used only to:
Calculate remaining productive time
Schedule and manage tasks
Show planned vs actual time
Display daily and weekly productivity summaries
Remember your theme preference
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties because:
Your data stays on your device
The App has no cloud sync
The App has no login system
The App has no advertising SDK
The App has no analytics SDK controlled by us
TimeBudget is designed to work offline. Core features do not require an internet connection.
If your device or app store services need internet for installation, updates, or store-level processes, that is handled by Google Play / your device, not by TimeBudget’s app features.
Because data is stored only on your device:
It remains available until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App
Using Reset Day removes that day’s plan and calculations
Uninstalling TimeBudget removes the App’s locally stored data from your device
We cannot recover your data after deletion or uninstall because we do not store a remote copy.
TimeBudget does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require personal information and does not target children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has entered personal information into the App, you can delete that information by clearing the App data or uninstalling the App.
Your information remains on your device. While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, keeping data local reduces risk related to cloud breaches. Please protect your device with a screen lock and keep your operating system updated.
TimeBudget itself does not include third-party tracking, ads, or cloud databases.
Distribution through Google Play may involve Google’s own policies and services for app download, updates, and store operations. Those activities are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s features change. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
