Tim Puphal
I am a Research Scientist at Honda, where I work on autonomy and motion planning for robots. My research interest lies especially in self-driving cars. The following questions drive me: How can we ensure safety in driving? What defines an intelligently moving robot? By applying stochastic models, behavior planning, motion planning and human-machine interaction, I try to understand and answer these questions. I received my PhD from Technical University of Darmstadt. Please have a look at my thesis and publications below that explain my ideas.
