I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Risk and Insurance Department of the University of Wisconsin - Madison. My research focuses on the role of insurance markets and governments in coping with financial losses from natural disasters. My work combines theoretical models with empirical analyses to study how public-private partnerships enable effective risk sharing. I received my PhD at the University of Hohenheim in 2025, where I focused on disaster relief payments and premium subsidies on crop insurance markets.
