Our screen printed wallpaper is non-pasted and should be installed using a traditional hanging method. Paste the back of the wallpaper using a roller brush. Fold the pasted side together (aka 'book') and let stand for 5-7 minutes. This will keep the seams from opening up and drying out while the paper is setting.

Match the pattern on the wall at eye level and put the seams tightly against each other - do not overlap. Use a wallpaper brush or a smoothing tool to gently work the paper onto the wall working from the top and middle, down and out. All hand-screened papers suggest a 1/8" allowance in matching.

The end product was macOS Tiger, a fun homage to an iconic wallpaper, released in late 2021. The wallpaper remained untouched for nearly two years until I needed something for an upcoming post. When we produce additional yardage to match a prior order, we use the cutting from the first order as our sample to match to. Although variables exist that do prevent an exact match, we do our very best.Enough wallpaper should be ordered so that the two dye lots are NOT installed side by side on a flat wall. The installer should always merge the two lots in a discrete location, such as in a corner or around a window, and order more if necessary to allow for this.

Prepping your walls will ensure your wallpaper adheres well and doesn't form bubbles. Patch any holes and sand down any bumps. Clean the wall with 70% isopropyl alcohol mixed with 30% water. Let the wall dry, and then repeat up to 3 times.

To ensure a seamless repeat, you'll want to measure the total height and width of the area you wish to wallpaper and enter that size when you order. Breaking up your order into different roll heights may result in your pattern not lining up. Learn more here. e24fc04721
