Senior Research Fellow
School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Nanyang Technological University - NTU Singapore
I am currently a Senior Research Fellow at School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Nanyang Technological University—NTU Singapore, working with Prof. Chau Yuen. I was a Research Fellow at Engineering Product Development Pillar in Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore, between 2022 and 2023, and was a Special Research Associate at Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, between 2020 and 2021.
I received my Ph.D. degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), Beijing, China, in 2020, supervised by Prof. Zhijia Yang. I was a Visiting Student with Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Technion—Israel Institute of Technology, and then with Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, between 2018 and 2019, co-supervised by Prof. Yonina C. Eldar.
My research interests include quantum information technologies for advanced wireless communication and sensing, Rydberg and neutral atom empowered wireless systems, holographic and massive MIMO for 6G, electromagnetic signal and information theory. I am the Co-Principal Investigator and Lead Scientist on several projects at the intersection of quantum information technology and wireless communications, supported by prestigious funding agencies including the Ministry of Education (Singapore) and Temasek Laboratories. I am now serving as the Workshop Co-Chair of IEEE ICC 2027 and the Lead Guest Editor of Electronics Special Issue. I have served as the Tutorial Lecturer at prestigious IEEE conferences, including IEEE GLOBECOM 2026, IEEE PIMRC 2026 and IEEE/CIC ICCC 2026, the Lead Workshop Chair of IEEE PIMRC 2026, and the TPC member of several prestigious IEEE conferences.
