This Privacy Policy explains how the Tidytarget Sales mobile application (package name: com.tidytarget.sales, referred to as the “App”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. The App is provided by TidyTarget (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
The App is a business tool for field-force staff, including Medical Representatives (MRs) and Managers, working for organisations that use the TidyTarget platform. It is not intended for general public use.
The App does not provide public registration. User accounts are created by an organisation's administrator through the TidyTarget web console. Users sign in using the username and password provided by their organisation.
Your organisation determines what information about its employees and customers is recorded in the App. TidyTarget processes this information on behalf of the organisation to provide and maintain the service.
We collect and process the information necessary to operate the Tidytarget Sales App. This information is transmitted to and stored on TidyTarget servers associated with sales.tidytarget.com.
Information collected: Name, username, employee ID, role, email address, phone number, address, date of birth, gender, and last login date.
Purpose: To authenticate users, display profiles, and manage accounts.
Information collected: Names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of doctors, chemists, and other business customers.
Purpose: To plan customer visits and record work activities.
Information collected: Daily Call Reports (DCRs), tour plans, targets, sales entries, leave requests, coaching notes, and approvals.
Purpose: To provide the App's core business features and support work management.
Information collected: Expense claims, amounts, categories, and travel routes.
Purpose: To submit, review, and approve expense claims.
Information collected: In-app messages sent and received by users.
Purpose: To facilitate communication between colleagues within the App.
Information collected: Receipts, images, and documents that users choose to attach.
Purpose: To support expense claims, messaging, and related business activities.
The App does not collect the following information through its own features:
GPS or network-based location data.
Your phone's contacts, calendar, SMS messages, or call logs.
Advertising IDs or device identifiers.
Analytics, usage-tracking, or crash-reporting data through third-party SDKs.
Payment card or bank account details.
The App accesses only the photos and files you explicitly select using your device's file picker. It does not scan your device storage.
We use the information described in this policy to:
Provide App features, including authentication, reports, expense management, approvals, messaging, and file sharing.
Allow authorised managers and administrators within your organisation to review, manage, and approve work-related activities.
Maintain the security, functionality, and reliability of the service.
Respond to support requests and data-related enquiries.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising or marketing-profile creation.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
Your information may be accessible to authorised users within your organisation, such as managers and administrators, according to the permissions and roles configured by your organisation.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law, a court order, or another valid legal request.
TidyTarget processes organisational information on behalf of the relevant organisation to provide the service.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through the App, including:
Encryption in transit: Data transmitted between the App and our servers is protected using HTTPS/TLS, with unencrypted connections disabled.
Secure token storage: Authentication tokens are stored using Android Keystore on supported Android devices or Keychain on iOS.
Role-based access controls: Access to information is restricted according to permissions configured on the server.
Although we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service and as determined by your organisation's account status, operational requirements, and applicable legal or record-keeping obligations.
You can request account or data deletion by:
Contacting your organisation's administrator, who can deactivate or remove your account through the TidyTarget web console, subject to applicable retention requirements; or
Emailing support@email.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
Where appropriate, we will coordinate with your organisation to process your request within 30 days.
Certain records, including approved expense claims or other business records, may need to be retained to meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations. Where applicable, we will explain any relevant retention requirements.
Deleting or deactivating an account may not immediately remove records that must be retained for legitimate business or legal purposes.
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing activities.
You may be able to view and update some information directly through the App. For other requests, contact your organisation's administrator or email support@email.com.
We will handle requests in accordance with applicable laws and the responsibilities agreed upon with your organisation.
The App is intended for adult employees and business users and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18 through the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the App, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this policy. For significant changes, we may notify users through the App or their organisation.
We encourage users to review this policy periodically.
