Privacy Policy
APP NAME:Tideflow Rounds
Last updated / Effective date: 9 October 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Tideflow Rounds ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. Tideflow Rounds is a repeat-visit routing and on-site record tool for independent service technicians in India — electricians, plumbers, and air-conditioner or RO water-purifier repair professionals. The App is operated by the Tideflow Rounds team.
Tideflow Rounds is a fully offline, local-first application. It has no user account, no registration, no server, and no cloud sync. Everything you record — addresses, photos, service history, routes — stays on your own device. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
This Policy is written to meet the requirements of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Apple App Store privacy requirements.
2. Information We Collect
Tideflow Rounds has no account system and does not transmit your data to us or to any third party. All information you enter is stored only on your device. The information you create and store locally includes:
Address records: the address label you type, GPS coordinates you capture, free-text notes about how to reach the door (landmark, gate colour, floor, where the equipment sits), and the service types you assign to that address.
Door kit photos: up to four guided photos per address — the landmark at the turn, the building gate, the floor and unit, and the equipment location — plus any type labels you attach to them.
Service records: service type, fault description, parts you replaced with their model and warranty period, the amount you charged, and whether you were paid.
Before and after photos: paired photos you shoot at the same position before and after the work, and any fault photos you import from your photo library.
Contact information you choose to attach: if you attach an owner, tenant, or building manager to an address, that contact's name and phone number are stored locally with the address, along with the role you label them with. If you decline contacts access, only the name and number you type in by hand are stored.
Revisit signals: AMC contract expiry dates you register, part warranty expiry derived from your service records, the "come back next month" you mark at the door, and the seasonal rules you define yourself.
Routes and check-ins: the stop order you confirm for a round, your check-in times, and the straight-line distance accumulated between stops.
We do not collect your name, phone number, email address, or any login credential, because the App has no registration or login. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising, and the App contains no advertising or analytics SDK.
3. How We Use Information
All processing happens on your device. We use the information you enter only to make the App work:
To group the addresses that are due for a revisit by how close they actually are, and to lay out a stop order within the distance and stop limits you set.
To open the right address automatically when you arrive inside its geographic radius, and to show you what you did there last time.
To let you find a door again months later using the guided photos and notes you saved.
To keep a history that stays with the address even when the tenant or owner changes.
To work out, on your device, how often you return to an address, how much it has earned you in total, and which part keeps failing there.
To remind you with local notifications before an AMC contract, a part warranty, or a promised revisit comes due.
To let you call an attached contact in one tap.
To compute on-device summaries: which areas your customers actually cluster in, how many stops you complete per round, how your revenue splits by service type and area, and which addresses you have not been back to in a long time.
To export your own data as a backup file or a CSV report when you choose to.
Your data is never used to profile you, is never sold, and is never sent anywhere for processing.
4. Permissions We Need
Tideflow Rounds asks for a permission only at the moment you first use the feature that needs it, never all at once on launch. Before each system prompt, the App explains why that permission is needed. Every permission below is tied to a real feature; the App requests nothing it does not use.
Camera: to shoot your four-step door kit for an address, and to shoot the before and after photos of the work. Usage string: Tideflow uses the camera to shoot your door kit and the before/after of the work.
Photo Library: to let you bring in the fault pictures a customer sent you before the visit. Usage string: Tideflow reads your photos so you can bring in the fault pictures customers send you.
Location (when in use): to group nearby places into one round, to use your current position as the starting point of a route, to open an address when you arrive, and to accumulate the distance between stops. Usage string: Tideflow uses your location to group nearby places into one round and to open an address when you arrive.
Contacts: to let you attach the owner or tenant to an address and call them in one tap. Usage string: Tideflow reads your contacts so you can attach the owner or tenant to an address and call in one tap.
Notifications: to alert you before an AMC contract, a part warranty, or a promised revisit comes due. Usage string: Tideflow notifies you before an AMC, a part warranty or a promised revisit comes due.
Tideflow Rounds does not request background location. Arrival detection works only while the App is in the foreground or in use.
If you decline a permission, the App keeps working with a reduced path: you can pick a starting point and check in by hand without location, choose photos from your library instead of the camera, type a contact's name and number instead of reading your contacts, and see revisit signals in the App without being notified. You can change any permission at any time in your device settings; the App's Settings screen shows the current state of all five and links straight there.
5. Information Storage and Security
All data is stored only on your device, in a local database and in the App's own sandboxed file storage. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
Your records and photos are protected by the operating system's own file-level encryption for app sandbox data.
Photos you shoot in Tideflow Rounds are not written to your system photo library and are not shared with any other app unless you explicitly share them.
Contacts and location data are read and used locally only and never leave your device.
The App makes no network request carrying your work data. Map base tiles, when available, are fetched without sending your saved addresses; when offline the App falls back to a view based on your stored coordinates only.
Because the App stores everything locally and has no cloud copy, a lost or reset device means lost data. Please use the backup export described in Section 7.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your information to any third party, because your data never leaves your device.
There are three moments where you, not us, pass information outward, and each is entirely under your control:
When you tap to call an attached contact, your device's own phone application handles the call. Tideflow Rounds keeps no record of the call.
When you tap to open a stop in an external map application for navigation, that address is handed to the map app you choose.
When you export a backup file or a CSV report, your device's share sheet hands the file to the destination you pick. That file contains your customers' names, phone numbers, and addresses — the App warns you of this before every export. Please store it somewhere you trust.
We disclose nothing to law enforcement or any authority, because we hold nothing: we have no server and no copy of your data.
7. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have rights over your personal data. Because Tideflow Rounds holds no data on any server, you exercise these rights directly on your own device, at any time and without asking us:
Access and review: open any address, service record, route, or signal and see everything stored about it.
Correction: edit any address, service record, contact attachment, or signal rule.
Export (data portability): export a complete backup file containing all addresses, service records, routes, and photos, or export your service records as a CSV report for a date range you choose. Both go wherever you send them through the share sheet.
Deletion: delete a single service record, delete an entire address together with all its records and photos, or clear all App data at once. Deleting the App from your device removes all of it. Destructive actions always ask you to confirm first and tell you exactly how much will be removed.
Restriction of processing: turn off any permission in device settings, or turn off any revisit signal source in the App, and that processing stops.
Tideflow Rounds has no account, so there is no account to delete and no grievance mechanism needed for data we hold — we hold none. For questions about this Policy, see Section 11.
8. Protection of Minors
Tideflow Rounds is a work tool for professional service technicians and is intended for users aged 18 and above. It is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect any personal data of a child. Because the App has no registration, no server, and no data transmission, no information about any user — adult or child — is ever received by us. Under the DPDP Act, 2023, processing of a child's personal data requires verifiable parental consent; as the App neither collects nor transmits personal data to us, this requirement does not arise. If a minor has used the App on a device, a parent or guardian can remove all data by clearing the App's data or deleting the App.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the App evolves. The effective date shown at the top of this document will be updated whenever we do. Any material change will be communicated inside the App before it takes effect. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. The current Policy is always readable in full from the App's Settings screen, offline.
10. Contact
For any questions about this Privacy Policy or about your data, please contact the Tideflow Rounds team at: RollingerSciara6732@outlook.com
We aim to respond within 7 working days.
