Your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how BurnerMail ("we," "our," or "the App") handles your information when you use our temporary email services.
1. Information We Do Not Collect (Zero Logs Policy) BurnerMail is designed to protect your anonymity. We explicitly DO NOT collect, store, or share:
Your name, phone number, or physical address.
Your real, primary email address.
Your IP address (except transiently for security and rate-limiting purposes, which are automatically purged).
Your device's precise location.
2. Information We Process Temporarily To provide our core service (temporary emails), we temporarily process:
Email Content: The emails you receive via your temporary BurnerMail addresses are stored on our secure servers only for a limited time (based on your active timer). Once the timer expires or you manually delete the address, all associated emails and data are permanently and irretrievably destroyed.
Anonymous Device Identifiers: We use securely generated, anonymous device IDs (UUIDs) strictly to link your temporary inboxes to your specific device. This ID cannot be used to identify you personally.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions We offer premium features and consumable credits via Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
All payment processing is handled securely by Apple and Google.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous User ID and purchase receipt to validate your premium status. We do not have access to your credit card details, billing address, or real name.
4. Push Notifications If you opt-in to receive push notifications (e.g., for OTP alerts), we use OneSignal. We only share an anonymous device token with OneSignal to deliver these alerts. You can revoke this permission at any time via your device settings.
5. Third-Party Links within Emails Emails you receive via BurnerMail may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites. Please exercise caution when clicking links or downloading attachments from unknown senders.
6. Children’s Privacy BurnerMail is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
