Outside the cabin, Macy called for the other officers to stay armed, just in case of a deteriorating situation inside. Anna and Wesley continued to wrestle for the knife, until Anna eventually got a hold of it. ‘By definition of wrestle, you suck ass, Wes,’ remarked Anna, who then continued, ‘Let them go and those officers out there arrest your ass.’ Wesley manically laughed and then charged at Anna, nearly choking her out in the process once again. Willa was stunned that her half-sister was doing something heroic instead of villainous, and started cheering her on. Veronica then crawled to the door, but Wesley then stood in the way. He had grabbed a hold of the bowie knife once again, and stabbed Veronica in the cheek with it. She screamed and the officers charged at the cabin.

            As soon as officers were inside, Wesley through a smoke grenade at them, but was unsuccessful as he forgot to pull the pin. He was grabbed by the officers and was arrested there and then, with Macy making the final response, ‘Wesley Jenkins, you are under arrest for the murders of Shelby Corcoran and Lauren Popovic. Anything you say or do can be used against you in the court of law.’ He was taken into custody once Macy put the handcuffs on.

            Anna walked over to Willa and asked, ‘I am so sorry for the shit and pain I caused you and the others. I can never take that back, as that is a burden I’ll have to carry for the rest of my life. Can you ever forgive me?’ Willa replied, ‘After tonight, I can forgive you. But that doesn’t make what you did okay.’ Macy then walked over to the sisters and said, ‘Anna Hoboken, all charges against you are being dropped. You’re free to go.’

            The others went over to Anna and thanked her for her actions, and forgave her for the torment she put them through months earlier. They did not forget the trials and torment though.

            Wesley was arrested and charged with the murders of both Shelby and Lauren. The group was relieved that their murderous stalker was now going to prison for all the things he had done. Anna decided to get therapy now that she was aquitted of the charges against her. Willa went with her to her first session as moral support. ‘Thanks for coming with me, Willa. I greatly appreciate it,’ said Anna. Willa replied, ‘Given everything you’ve gone through over the past few months, you definitely need to braindump at therapy every week or two weeks.’

            The day after the fight at the cabin came Dominic and Jonah’s graduation day. That evening at the field house, was the graduation ceremony, where Dominic and Jonah arrived together. They were separated by last name in the list of students, and the others all went, including Anna, George, Felix, Felicity, Sally, and Troy. When Jonah’s name was called, the group cheered during the applause from the crowd gathered. They cheered once again once Dominic’s name and honors titles were called. Once the ceremony was finished, the group reunited and went to dinner at the Italian restaurant downtown. ‘Congratulations you two, you definitely worked your asses off,’ said Carston. Felicity said, ‘I am so proud of you both,’ to which Sally then said, ‘We are extremely proud of you both on your graduation. Now what do you think will happen next?’ Jonah said, ‘This,’ and got down on one knee saying, ‘Dominic, you and I have been through hell together, and I can’t see my life without you. Will you do me the honors of marrying me?’ Dominic said, ‘Yes!’ without hesitiation.

            The group now had another celebration to plan for in the coming months to a year, with Sally & George planning on paying for the wedding, wherever Dominic and Jonah wanted it to be. Troy asked Noemi, ‘Are we still rebuilding the barn, or are we doing the fire pit?’, to which George overheard. He then came over to Noemi and said, ‘We’ll help you rebuild the barn, and we’ll pay for it.’ Noemi said, ‘Thank you so much, George. I really appreciate it.’ Dominic, Noemi, and Willa all hugged each other as the group continued to celebrate the graduation and marriage proposal.

ONE YEAR LATER

A year and a few months later in the following April, was Dominic and Jonah’s wedding day. Both grooms were blushing as they went down the aisle, with George and Sally escorting Dominic, and with Jonah’s sister Cely accompaning Jonah down the aisle. Noemi and Willa served as Dominic’s Maids of Honor, with Carston and Max serving as Jonah’s groomsmen. The ceremony was one that would be remembered throughout the town of Fairlake, New York. Anna, Jennifer, Felix, Felicity, Troy, Veronica, and many others were gathered to watch the wedding. The officiant was none other than Jonah’s close friend Nigel. ‘We are gathered here today to witness the coming together and marriage of Jonah Parsons and Dominic Raskin,’ said Nigel. The ceremony was beautiful, with Dominic and Jonah exchanging vows they wrote themselves. Noemi cried quietly as Dominic read his vows.

As soon as the ceremony was over, the reception began. The barn behind Carston, Noemi, and Troy’s house was rebuilt by a construction crew hired by George. Cely opened the reception with a toast to the couple, and then the dinner began. After an hour, the dinner portion of the reception had finished, and the party portion began. As soon as the group of friends had gathered on the dance floor as P!nk’s “Get the Party Started” was blaring over the soundsystem. ‘What a wonderful ceremony that was earlier. Congratulations boys!’ said Jennifer. Veronica agreed, saying, ‘I couldn’t agree more, Jen! I really enjoyed it.’ After 30 minutes on the dance floor, it was time for the reception to end. Close family and friends of the group remained, but other wedding-goers filtered out as the night went on.

‘Max, why don’t you take a picture of all of us,’ said Jonah. ‘Why not Willa? She is our selfie queen!’ said Noemi. As soon as the group of 10 friends was huddled together around Willa’s phone, the lights in the barn turned a deep red. It was like a scene out of “Carrie”. The screen behind the DJ booth was sprawling with a message that the group did not see coming. Dominic was the first to notice the message saying, ‘Are you fucking kidding me?!?’ The others turned around and saw the message written in white and red on the screen. Noemi then said, ‘Whoever started this year’s shit is gonna pay dearly.’ Anna then said, ‘I didn’t start it this time.’

Welcome to the final stage. This teacher is ready to school you all in the worst ways possible.

The group’s jaws all dropped upon seeing the message clearly. The friends and family of the group gathered around to see the message as well. Felicity then said, ‘This mama is ready for a fight, and who ever this dirtbag is this time is going to lose.’ The group just stayed huddled together inside the barn, while outside, another figure; this time in a red coat, giggled to themselves and whistled a tune as they walked away into the darkness beyond the streetlights.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

The group doesn’t know what’s coming, despite the nuptiuals of our happy Dominic and Jonah.
