Things Get Icy!

After a very competitive and very close round of voting, Germany became the latest country to win the TiBB Music Festival. Kim Petras became the seventeenth artist to win the contest, following in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue, Nevena Božović, KEiiNO, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Aly & AJ, Sabrina Carpenter, Blackpink, Cornelia Jakobs, Lenny, Gina Kushka, Petek Dinçöz, Erika Vikman, ABBA, Gin Wigmore, and Jude Kelly.

Germany won with 358 points, United States came 2nd with 337 points, and Australia came 3rd with 296 points. Wales, Ireland, and Bulgaria rounded out the top 6 in 4th, 5th, and 6th places respectively, with the latter receiving their best placement in the contest.

Kim Petras was born in Bonn, Germanyt. She has released two studio albums so far. She was selected by Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) on behalf of ARD via an internal selection to compete with "Icy" in the eighteenth edition.
