"We must know, we will know"--David Hilbert
I am a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, since fall 2024.
I'm interested in a broad range of mathematical areas related to differential geometry, topology, and mathematical physics. In the following few years, I might be leaning more towards complex algebraic geometry and its applications to quantum field theory and string theory.
My favourite theorem is the generalized Stokes' theorem, and my favourite topological space is Alexander's horned sphere.
Feel free to contact me via my school email: tywang9@sas.upenn.edu
The picture you see is a (comic) drawing of me explaining supersymmetric field theory and Atiyah-Singer index theorem to a robot, on a distant planet far away from Earth. This is generated by ChatGPT, and is a close enough approximation of me, since I used my actual photo as input to generate this drawing.
I am Robin Hartshorne's Algebraic geometry :(

Here is an interesting book on quantum theory from an algebraic perspective that I enjoyed: Peter Woit, Quantum Theory, Groups and Representations (It starts as a series of lecture notes of a course offered at Columbia University, which is freely avilable here, later it was published by Springer, which you can access here link). Prof. Woit also recorded his lecture videos and posted them on his YouTube channel.
An interesting song (Finite simple group of order 2)
