Tiago Zeitone
PhD Fellow, Department of Politics, New York University
I'm a PhD Student at NYU Politics. I have an M.A. in Political Science from the Institute of Political and Social Studies (IESP-UERJ) and a B.A. in Economics from PUC-Rio. My research fields are Political Philosophy and Ethics. My research interests span a broad range of topics within political theory. I am currently concentrating on the concept of domination in contemporary republican political philosophy, the democratic justification of discretionary authority in independent agencies, and developing an Aristotelian-inspired account of curricular openness in democratic education. On Ethics, I am currently interested in the role of freedom in Kant's moral theory and its influence on liberal thought.Email: tiago.zeitone[at]nyu.eduOffice Adress: 19 West 4th Street, Office 321.
