The Party

Bynx spent the majority of his life as a bookkeeper and scribe in Starmantle. For coin, he offered transcription services copying entire tomes. His primary job was to copy entire tomes to make a backup copy. After 300 years of working in this job, he learned much about wizardry. He became curious and ansy, fearful that he had wasted his life doing nothing but reading and writing about the adventures of others rather than having is own heroic stories to tell. When innovations in technology and magic made his job as a scribe obsolete he finally found the excuse he needed to set out on the road the adventure and pursue his studies in the arcane arts. His final order as a scribe was a commission to convert a diary of a famed wizard that was missing 7 important pages. Bynx searches for these missing pages with the theory that each contains a spell inscription for 7 lost but powerful spells. Soon after closing his shop, Starmantle was attacked by a fleet of chromatic dragons.
