Suffolk/Brighton alt-indie duo backed by BBC Introducing
Hailing from Suffolk, Three Years Younger is an alt-indie sister duo whose music discusses growing up and getting lost in the music industry. Their harmonies, described as “spine-tingling”, earned them the under 18s Cambridge Band Competition win in 2019.
In 2021 Three Years Younger reached new heights after being scouted by BBC Introducing Suffolk presenter Angelle Joseph to perform at the Cult Café in Ipswich before having their new release Just an Echo promoted on BBC Radio 1. She went on to describe them as “A really exciting band to watch for the future.”
In 2022, hand-picked by BBC Introducing, Three Years Younger performed with their band on the Alcove Stage at Latitude Festival to a full tent. They went on to support Ellie Dixon and Paris Paloma and are currently working on releasing new music.
“Three Years Younger are a unique pair of talented artists whose consistency is very noticeable. They represent the sounds of country life in Suffolk with a modern twist from a youth perspective. I look forward to hearing new tracks by them because not only do they deliver great quality every time, their sound bounces across subgenres of pop and folk, so you never know what you are going to expect. A really exciting band to watch for the future.”

"I’ve seen Three Years Younger several times now and every time I do, the harmonies and the timing of these two sisters capture my musical heart creating hairs standing on the back of the neck moments. Suffice it to say I had to bring them with us to perform at our venue in the Pigs Big Ballroom at Camp Bestival. So if you get the chance do please have a listen to their music – faultless performances and perfect self-penned songs as well – you won’t regret it!"
