Their journey commenced in 2024, a pivotal year that saw the convergence of their individual musical gifts. Brought together to collaborate within production suite 3, their synergy and creativity quickly sparked, leading to the birth of “Three Suite Dreams.” From this humble beginning, they embarked on a remarkable journey, crafting melodies and lyrics that resonate deeply with audiences and critics alike. As they continue to carve their path in the industry, their story serves as a testament to the power of collaboration and the endless possibilities of artistic expression.
Their new single, “Bittersweet Migraine” is a fusion of Jazz and Pop and has been described as “an intricate masterpiece” by Rolling Stone Magazine [May 2024]. It begins with a light and airy vocal from our lead vocalist who portrays the protagonist in this vivid dream where she is falling gently into the dream until the antagonist (2nd lead vocalist) appears with his powerful soulful vocals as the nightmare section of the song. Who Are Three Suite Dreams?
Dream 1: Singers
Elizabeth:
Elizabeth is our protagonist vocalist and co-lyricist introducing an airy wallowing touch. She uses imagery to convey the surreal dreamy environment.
Direin:
Direin is our antagonist encompassed by the grittiness of his vocals hence, portraying the protagonist's nightmare. Whilst being antagonistic in the piece, he gives the group a cheerful attitude.
Nick:
Nick is our groups song co-writer, assisting Elizabeth with lyrics as well as the dreamy melody. He also added background harmonies to add ambiguity to the piece.
Dream 2: Instrumentalists
Corrin:
Corrin is our group's trumpeter, presenting a smooth jazz improvisation style which will soothe even the sickest of patients. Corrin additionally is the lead editor of the website.
Jeremy:
Jeremy is our saxophonist of the group. Providing a darker, warmer layer to the countermelody of the piece in a smoky jazz improvisation style.
David:
David is our local beatmaker, having laid down the drums for this track. He also doubles as the collator of the slideshow, and our radio voiceover artist with the vocal charisma of that of a 60 year old hollywood actor.
Dream 3: Audio and Production
Max:
Max is our group's resident audio engineer. A pro at Protools, she uses her skills in recording, mixing, and mastering to bring these three suite dreams to life, in a form your mortal ears can understand.
Sam:
Sam is our creator, charged with all of existence. Sam's his name, Ableton's his game. Responsible for arranging and producing in the creative process. He also lays down suite bass.
Chris:
Chris is our composer and piano man, with his musical knowledge and compositional experience, Chris provided the chord progression, piano playing and composed the structure of the piece.
Three Suite Dreams is more then a group of random Year 1 Box Hill Music Students. It's a movement. It's the meaning of inspiration. It's defining art. It's revolutionizing an experience which many experience daily. It's something the world never needed but was destined to be found. We are dreamers. Come sleep with us. This is not a request but an order. You have no choice in this. You will think of us when you sleep. We will be there. Every Night. Three Suite Dreams. 4ever.
