If you want deep sound isolation, a custom equalizer, and a screen for media control, choose THREE PEACHES Earbuds; if you need situational awareness, all-day comfort for your ears, and bone-conduction style audio, choose NexBeam Open Ear Clip. As a teacher who spends long hours in classrooms where hearing students and colleagues is just as important as playing music or podcasts, I have analyzed the specs of both devices to help you decide which one fits your daily rhythm without compromising safety or comfort.
• THREE PEACHES Earbuds: Strength lies in its active noise cancellation and unique LCD touch screen with 7 sound presets; trade-off is the in-ear design that blocks external sounds completely. Best for teachers who need total focus during lesson prep or commute time.
• NexBeam Open Ear Clip: Strength is its open-ear titanium alloy design and bone conduction tech that keeps ears open; trade-off is the lack of true isolation and slightly shorter single-charge playtime compared to the case total. Best for teachers who must stay alert to classroom noise while listening to audio.
The THREE PEACHES earbuds are built for the person who wants to carve out a quiet bubble in a chaotic world. The standout feature here is the intelligent combination of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and ENC technology. Unlike standard passive isolation, this pair actively reduces background noise, which is crucial when you are trying to listen to educational content or podcasts on a busy bus ride home. The Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity ensures a stable link up to 10 meters, meaning you can leave your phone in your bag while walking around the house without losing signal.
What truly sets this model apart for a tech-savvy user is the integrated 2.01-inch full-color LCD touch screen. This isn't just a battery indicator; it functions as a mini-dashboard for your audio experience. You can switch between seven distinct sound effects—ranging from rock and pop to classical and jazz—with a simple tap. If you are a teacher who loves adjusting the audio profile to match the mood of your study session or workout, this level of customization is rare in this price bracket. The ability to check messages, adjust brightness, and even find your lost earbuds via an alarm directly from the screen adds a layer of convenience that traditional buds simply cannot match.

However, the in-ear design is a double-edged sword. While the ergonomic silicone tips make them lightweight and secure for small ear canals, they physically seal the ear canal. This is perfect for blocking out a noisy office, but it means you will not hear the school bell, a student raising their hand, or someone calling your name unless you pause the music. If your job requires constant auditory vigilance, these might feel isolating. They are also rated IPX4 for water resistance, so they handle sweat and light rain well, making them suitable for a quick jog before work, but the sealed nature makes them less ideal for intense, sweaty gym sessions where airflow is preferred.
The NexBeam Open Ear Clip is engineered for those who refuse to sacrifice environmental awareness for audio enjoyment. Its defining characteristic is the 0.5mm memory titanium alloy ear hook. This material is chosen specifically for its flexibility and durability, allowing the clip to hug the ear comfortably without squeezing or causing pain after hours of wear. For a teacher who might be wearing headphones for eight hours straight while grading papers or prepping lessons, this pressure-free fit is a game-changer. The open-ear design leaves your ear canal completely unblocked, ensuring that natural sounds from your surroundings pass through freely.
This product utilizes a form of bone conduction-inspired technology, transmitting sound through vibration rather than pushing air into the ear canal. This approach protects your eardrums over long periods and allows you to hear the room clearly while still enjoying your playlist. The Bluetooth 6.0 implementation (noting the spec sheet lists 5.4 in some areas but emphasizes the advanced range) provides a connection range of over 13 meters, which is superior to the THREE PEACHES option. This extended range gives you more freedom to move around your workspace or classroom without worrying about the audio cutting out. Furthermore, the anti-sound leakage design is a critical feature for professional settings like libraries or offices; it prevents the "leakage" effect where others nearby can hear your music, ensuring privacy even in quiet environments.
The battery performance is another major selling point for the heavy user. With a total playtime of up to 50 hours using the charging case, and individual earbud life extending to 8 hours on a single charge, you can go several days without needing to plug them in. This is ideal for long trips or multi-day teaching schedules. The IPX4 waterproof rating ensures they withstand sweat and rain, making them reliable companions for outdoor activities. However, because they do not seal the ear, the bass response and overall volume perception may feel different than in-ear models, and the ANC capability is limited to ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) for calls rather than full noise reduction for music.
• Best for Situational Awareness → NexBeam Open Ear Clip. The open design lets you hear students and classroom noises naturally.
• Best for Sound Isolation → THREE PEACHES Earbuds. The ANC feature actively cancels out distracting background noise.
• Best for Battery Life → NexBeam Open Ear Clip. Up to 50 hours total playtime beats the THREE PEACHES 25-hour total.
• Best for Audio Customization → THREE PEACHES Earbuds. The LCD screen offers 7 distinct EQ modes and visual controls.
• Best for Long-Term Comfort → NexBeam Open Ear Clip. The titanium alloy clip avoids ear canal pressure entirely.
• Best for Call Clarity in Wind → Both offer ENC, but NexBeam's open design may pick up more ambient voice noise while THREE PEACHES focuses on the mouth.
• Best for Small Ears → NexBeam Open Ear Clip. Specifically noted for small ears with its flexible ring design.
• Best for Tech Integration → THREE PEACHES Earbuds. Features voice assistant integration, message reminders, and a digital display.
If I were standing in a classroom tomorrow, looking for a headphone solution that would let me enjoy my morning podcast while still hearing the students ask questions, I would buy the NexBeam Open Ear Clip. The bone conduction aspect combined with the titanium alloy design ensures I never feel isolated from my environment, which is non-negotiable for a teacher. The 50-hour battery life also means I won't be hunting for a charger mid-week. However, if my day was filled with loud construction noise outside and I needed to focus intensely on lesson planning without any distractions, I would switch to the THREE PEACHES Earbuds for their superior ANC and customizable sound profiles. Ultimately, the NexBeam is the safer, more versatile choice for the dynamic nature of education.
Yes, the NexBeam Open Ear Clip is designed specifically for this scenario. Its open-ear design allows you to hear ambient sounds like alarms or student voices while listening to audio, unlike the fully in-ear THREE PEACHES model which blocks sound.
Both models feature intuitive touch controls. The NexBeam uses gestures for music and calls, while the THREE PEACHES offers a more complex interface with a full-color LCD screen for deeper control over sound effects and settings.
Bone conduction style, like the NexBeam, transmits sound through vibrations and leaves the ear canal open, promoting safety and awareness. Standard earbuds like the THREE PEACHES provide better noise isolation and potentially deeper bass but block out environmental sound.
Both the THREE PEACHES and NexBeam models carry an IPX4 waterproof rating. This means they are resistant to sweat and light rain, making them suitable for gym workouts or jogging in damp conditions.
