If you want immersive, noise-canceling audio with a custom equalizer for intense mobile gaming sessions, choose THREE PEACHES Earbuds; if you need situational awareness and all-day comfort without ear fatigue during outdoor play, choose AYI Open Ear Air.
• THREE PEACHES Earbuds: Offers active noise cancellation and a unique touch screen interface for deep immersion, but the in-ear design may cause pressure after many hours of continuous wear.
• AYI Open Ear Air: Delivers an open-ear experience that keeps your ears free for environmental sounds, though it lacks the isolation needed for competitive gaming in noisy rooms.
• Who picks THREE PEACHES: Gamers seeking spatial audio effects and total focus on their device.
• Who picks AYI: Runners or commuters who need to hear traffic while listening to music or taking calls.
The THREE PEACHES Wireless Earbuds are built for people who want to disconnect from the world and dive straight into their content. The standout feature here is the intelligent Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) paired with ENC for calls. This isn't just about blocking out a hum; it's about creating a quiet sanctuary so you can hear every footstep in a game or every nuance in a podcast without distraction. If you are looking for spatial audio gaming headphones for mobile gaming, the ANC capability here provides a layer of separation from your surroundings that open-ear designs simply cannot match. You aren't fighting against a loud TV or a busy office; you are in your own bubble.
The technology inside these buds is surprisingly robust for the form factor. They utilize Bluetooth 5.4, which promises faster pairing and a more stable connection than older versions—a critical detail when you don't want audio lag ruining your reaction time in a fast-paced game. But what truly sets them apart is the inclusion of a 2.01-inch LCD touch screen on the case. While most competitors just show a percentage battery level, this display lets you manage sound equalizers, switch between six languages, and even find lost earbuds with a single click. It turns the charging case into a control center, allowing you to adjust settings for rock, pop, classical, DJ, disco, or jazz modes instantly.

These earbuds are also designed for durability without sacrificing comfort. With an IPX4 waterproof rating, they handle sweat and light rain with ease, making them a viable option for gym sessions or rainy runs. The lightweight silicone material ensures they stay put in small ear canals, which is a common pain point for many users. However, because they are full in-ear models with rounded tips, they do create a seal. For some, this seal is essential for bass response and noise blocking, but for others, it can feel restrictive during very long listening sessions. If you prioritize pure audio fidelity and isolation over ear ventilation, these are the right choice.
The AYI Open Ear Air takes a completely different approach to audio delivery. Instead of sealing your ear canal, it uses air conduction technology to let sound pass through to your eardrums while leaving the ear canal completely open. This design philosophy prioritizes safety and comfort above all else. If you are someone who needs to be aware of your environment—whether you are jogging on a city street, working in a shared office, or playing games while keeping an eye on kids—you will find this design indispensable. It eliminates the "plugged up" feeling that often leads to headaches during marathon gaming or work sessions.
This product shines when you need ear clip headphones for mobile gaming or general use without the risk of missing important real-world cues. The open-ear design means you never have to worry about the pressure buildup that comes with traditional in-ear monitors. They are marketed as a pain-free solution, and the lightweight construction supports this claim by ensuring they sit comfortably on the ear rather than digging into the canal. For those concerned about hygiene or skin irritation, having no physical barrier inside the ear is a significant advantage.
Despite the open design, the AYI does not skimp on connectivity. Like its competitor, it features Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a stable link to your phone or tablet. It also carries an IPX4 waterproof rating, meaning you can wear it during sweaty workouts or unexpected splashes without damage. The active noise cancellation mentioned in its description likely refers to call clarity (ENC) rather than passive isolation, helping your voice come through clearly even in windy conditions. However, because the ear canal is open, you will hear ambient noise regardless of how high you turn the volume. This makes them less ideal for a chaotic subway ride but perfect for a park run where you need to hear cars approaching.
• Best for Battery Management: THREE PEACHES Earbuds win here with a dedicated LED power display showing exact remaining charge, whereas AYI relies on standard indicators.
• Best for Custom Sound Profiles: THREE PEACHES offers a 7-mode sound equalizer (rock, pop, classical, etc.) directly accessible via the case screen, giving you total control over your audio signature.
• Best for Situational Awareness: AYI Open Ear Air is the clear winner for anyone who needs to hear traffic, coworkers, or family members while listening.
• Best for Noise Isolation: THREE PEACHES Earbuds provide true active noise cancellation, physically blocking out background distractions for a cleaner signal.
• Best for Long-Term Comfort: AYI Open Ear Air prevents the "fullness" sensation common in in-ear buds, making it superior for 8+ hour days.
• Best for Gaming Focus: THREE PEACHES Earbuds offer the isolation required for best kids headphones for mobile gaming or adult competitive play where focus is paramount.
• Best for Connectivity Speed: Both use Bluetooth 5.4, so they tie for fast pairing and low latency performance.
• Best for Durability: Both carry an IPX4 rating, offering equal protection against sweat and water splashes.
After weighing the specs and intended use cases, I would personally buy the THREE PEACHES Earbuds for my daily mobile gaming setup. The combination of active noise cancellation and the customizable equalizer creates an immersive experience that is hard to beat. The ability to switch between sound profiles and see the battery status on a color screen adds a layer of utility that enhances the user experience significantly. While the AYI Open Ear Air is excellent for staying connected to the world, I prefer the total immersion that THREE PEACHES offers when I am trying to get into a game. For serious mobile gaming, the isolation provided by the in-ear design is non-negotiable for me, and the extra features like the touch screen make it a more versatile tool overall.
Yes, both models support Bluetooth 5.4 for stable connections, but THREE PEACHES Earbuds are better for gaming due to their active noise cancellation and sound equalizer options that enhance immersion.
No, the AYI Open Ear Air uses air conduction technology to keep your ears open, allowing you to hear ambient sounds for safety and awareness, unlike the in-ear model which blocks noise.
Both products feature an IPX4 waterproof rating, making them suitable for workouts, running, and activities involving sweat or light rain without fear of damage.
The THREE PEACHES Earbuds provide up to 5 hours of playback on a single charge, with the charging case offering additional charges to extend your total usage time.
