Use of Scanning and 3d Printing to Evaluate Changes in the Breast Surface for Breast Cancer Investigation.

This project granted by the Program of Support for Thematic Projects in the State of RJ 2019 - Track B aims to use laser scanning and 3D printing to develop computational methods and systems that assist healthcare professionals and patients in evaluating of possible changes in the breast. I also intend to promote maximum knowledge and technical resources between the two institutions (INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE TENCOLOGIA, INT and UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL FLUMINENSE, UFF) involved in the scope of 3D laser and structured light scanning, three-dimensional printing in various materials, thermography, mammograms , ultrasound, MRI and Virtual Reality techniques, Image Processing and Computational Intelligence.
