Materials Needed:
PowerPoint template: Elementary Edition, Secondary Edition
Pencil and Papers
Directions:
To set up the game, start by opening the PowerPoint template and projecting it onto the screen. Ask students to take out a piece of paper and a pencil. This game is designed to be played with partners and serves as a fun brain break.
Display the PowerPoint on the board and instruct the students to write down their answers to the “Who’s Most Likely To” questions without discussing them with their partner. Decide how many questions you want to go through. Once both partners have completed their papers, review the PowerPoint again. If both partners provided the same answer, they earn a point. Students receive one point for each matching answer with their partner.
FAQs and Tips:
Create your own PowerPoint presentation featuring photos of teachers, staff members, or students from your class.
While you can simply tally the number of matches between partners, it’s much more fun to revisit the PowerPoint with the images and allow students to discuss their answers.
Make sure to strictly enforce a no-talking rule during the initial round when students are answering individually. It's common for them to instinctively start chatting about the people on the slides, so this rule helps maintain focus.
