Directions:
To set up the game, open the PowerPoint template and display your screen on the projector. This game can be played individually, with partners, or as a whole class. If playing individually or with partners, have students pull out a paper and pencil.
Tell students “Who Is It?” is a game with a zoomed in picture of a celebrity/character/teacher/classmate. Students do their best at guessing who is in the picture and write down their answer on their paper. Complete as many pictures as you would like. At the end, go through and reveal the correct answers and pictures. Students earn a point for each picture they guessed correctly. Student/group with the most points at the end of the game wins!
FAQs and Tips:
If you are playing as a whole class, rearrange the slides, so the answer slide immediately follows the zoomed in picture.
Make your own PowerPoint using pictures of teachers/staff members in your school or students in your class.
For secondary students, crop the picture to only show a very small portion of the picture. It’s more fun if it’s hard for the students!
