I'm a PhD student of economics in my 2nd year of research at the German Institute for Economic Research (Socio-Economic Panel Division) and Free University of Berlin. Please consider my CV for more info.
In my research, I study the consequences of and remedies to German spatial economic inequality. More generally, I'm an applied microeconomist interested in economic geography, public finance, economic history and political economy.
Together with Charlotte Bartels, I have compiled the German Regional Inequality Database (GRID). GRID covers county-level data on GDP and top income shares since the 1950s. Have fun exploring the data using our interactive tool!
