I am Associate Professor of Political Science at University College London (UCL), where I am founding Director of the Centre on US Politics (CUSP). Previously, I was based at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and I have also held visiting appointments at Stanford, Yale, Oxford, and the London School of Economics. I received my PhD in political science from Duke. My research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of comparative politics and political economy, with a focus on US politics, public policy, and applications of survey and experimental methods.
