My Work
My main task was to make an ability/stat system. Every uneven wave completion you get a stat change and even wave completion you get an ability. The Abilities are given in an random order until there are none left, once you choose an ability the icon appears on your ability bar.
There are 4 abilities ingame.
Teleport: Teleport through walls to make an easy escape.
Metaform: Transform in an enemy, the enemy in which you transform is different each time.
Life Steal: Activate for 5 seconds in which you can life steal from hitting enemies.
Big Scream: Increase your scream range temorarily.
There was a lot of playtesting for this game once it was ready to be playtested. By playing it ourselfs and by letting friends and family play we got a lot of feedback that we implemented. I made it so you can still see the player and enemy through walls. Made that the scream color changes with certain abilities.
I made particles for the teleport indicator and when transforming into an enemy.
I did all the audio for the game, Also edited some of the audio's to make it looping or more fitting for the game.
