My Work
I was really interested in making AI, so for this project I worked on all the AI. I wanted to make 4 different enemy's, I used inheritance for the enemy's and i used Navmesh.
Basic AI: It moves and shoots.
Roomba: High speed, High damage enemy that blows up when you are to close.
Sniper: Tall, High damage, Slow bullet , Long range.
Turret: Low damage, High bullet magazine, Medium bullet speed.
I wanted to make a tutorial to show the player what all the different enemy's do. There are 4 different rooms with a different enemy in each room. You can progress once you killed the enemy. After all the enemies are defeated the real level starts.
I made some small and easy details like opening doors. Pickup's for the keycards and ammo,health and shield.
I learned a lot about time management because we overshot how much we could do. Since we needed to scrap a lot of idea's because people were sick and we didnt have enough time anymore. I also learned to communicate better within the team and to give feedback earlier, and to take the lead when needed.
