New Paper

Iman R. Kivi has co-authored a paper in Scientific Reports. This paper entitled “Reservoir impoundment-triggered seismicity in Brazil: the case of M4.0 Nova Ponte earthquake” provides a physical link between reservir impoundment started in 1993 in Nova Ponte, Brazil, and prolonged seismic activity followed by a M4.0 evento occured in 1998 in this region. This contribution involved a collaboration with scientists from the University of Brasília, Brazil.
