Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide.Habit Data: We store the habits you create, your completion records, streaks, notes, and mood entries. This data is used solely to power the app's features.Usage Data: We may collect anonymous analytics about how features are used in order to improve the app. This data cannot identify you personally.Device Information: We collect basic device information (OS version, app version) for troubleshooting and compatibility purposes.

Your habit data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated data that cannot identify any individual. We use the following trusted service providers:

• Supabase — secure cloud data storage

• RevenueCat — subscription management

• Google Play / Apple App Store — payment processing

• Posthog for data insight 

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all personal data we hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your account and all associated data

• Export your habit data

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data including habits, notes, and completion history is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

HabitStep is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the Last updated date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification.
