PRIVACY POLICY FOR THINKUP
Effective date: 13 August 2026
Last updated: 13 August 2026
App: ThinkUp (package: com.thinkup.game)
ThinkUp (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a cognitive training and mini-games app. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, how long it is kept, and how you can request deletion of your data.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
ThinkUp does not require an account and does not ask you for your name, email, phone number, or payment details inside the app.
We collect and process the following:
Local game data (on your device only): progress, scores, lives, settings, and similar gameplay state stored with on-device storage. This data is used to remember your progress and preferences.
Advertising data (via Google AdMob): the app shows banner, rewarded, and app-open ads. Google and its advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and app information, and ad interaction data to serve, measure, and personalize ads. We do not receive this data as a user profile on our own servers.
We do not sell your personal information.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- To operate the games and save progress on your device.
- To show ads that support the free app (including rewarded ads that restore lives or similar in-game benefits).
- To understand and improve ad delivery through Google AdMob.
3. DATA RETENTION POLICY
This section describes how long data is kept.
We do not store or retain personal user data on our servers. ThinkUp does not operate a cloud account, user database, or backend that keeps your name, email, or gameplay history.
Local game data (progress, scores, lives, settings) is retained only on your device for as long as the app remains installed and you do not clear the app’s storage. It is deleted when you uninstall ThinkUp or clear the app’s data in your device settings. We do not back this data up to our servers.
Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is retained by Google according to Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and AdMob policies. We do not control Google’s retention periods for advertising identifiers and ad logs.
If we ever receive a support email from you (for example a deletion request), we retain that correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request (typically up to 30 days after the request is completed), then delete it, unless a longer period is required by law.
4. DATA DELETION PROCESS
You can delete data associated with ThinkUp as follows.
Delete data on your device (immediate):
1. Uninstall ThinkUp, or
2. On Android: Settings → Apps → ThinkUp → Storage → Clear data / Clear storage.
This permanently deletes all local game progress, scores, lives, and settings stored by the app on that device. Because we do not keep this data on our servers, uninstalling or clearing storage is a complete deletion of our app’s local data.
Request deletion from us:
To submit a data deletion request (including any advertising-related data we can help you address, or confirmation that we hold no server-side data about you), email:
Email: aryalbishal9876@gmail.com
Subject line: ThinkUp data deletion request
Please include:
- The app name (ThinkUp) and, if possible, the package name com.thinkup.game
- The email address you want us to reply to
- A short statement that you want your data deleted
We will acknowledge your request and complete it within 30 days. Because we do not store personal user data on our servers, our response will confirm that no server-side user profile exists and will remind you how to erase on-device data (uninstall / clear storage). For advertising identifiers controlled by Google, you can also reset your Advertising ID in Android settings (Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID) and review Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com.
There is no in-app account to delete. If you only use the app locally and never emailed us, uninstalling the app is sufficient to delete the data we store.
Opt out of personalized ads:
You can limit ad tracking in your device settings (for example Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization) and at https://adssettings.google.com.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads to display ads. Google may process data under its own terms:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
6. CHILDREN
ThinkUp is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us via email, contact us and we will delete that correspondence.
7. CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
