Article 1: Purpose The purpose of these terms and conditions is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between ThinkFamily (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and its members when using the ThinkFamily and related services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "the Services"), as well as other necessary matters.
Article 2: Effectiveness and Changes to Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions take effect for all members who agree to them when using the Services.
The effectiveness of these terms and conditions begins when the member agrees to the content posted or notified at the time of registration for the Services.
If the terms and conditions are changed, the Company will notify the members of the effective date, the revised content, and the reasons for the revision at least seven days before the effective date through the website, email, or announcements within the Services.
Members who do not agree to the changed terms and conditions can request to withdraw their membership. If the member does not express rejection until the effective date after the announcement of the changed terms and conditions, it is considered that the member has agreed to the changed terms and conditions.
Article 3: Interpretation of Terms and Exceptions
The Company may have separate terms and policies for individual services it provides, and in the event of conflict with these terms, the terms and policies for individual services shall take precedence.
Matters not specified in these terms and conditions shall be governed by the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce Transactions, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Personal Information Protection Act, and other relevant laws.
Article 4: Formation of the Use Agreement
The use agreement is considered agreed upon when the applicant reads these terms and conditions and clicks the "Agree" button during the service registration process.
The use agreement is established when the Company accepts the use application following the applicant's agreement to these terms and conditions.
Applicants must provide their real information during the application for membership. If the information is found to be false or suspected of being false, the Company may request re-verification. If the information is confirmed to be incorrect, the member cannot claim any rights under these terms and conditions, and the Company can delete the member's rights without refund and refuse full access to the Services. The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages caused by this.
Article 5: Conclusion of the Use Agreement
The use agreement is concluded when the member agrees to the service use terms on the ThinkFamily service registration page and the Company approves the application.
The Company may postpone approval for membership if there are operational or technical issues.
The Company may reject or terminate the use agreement in the following cases:
If the applicant has previously lost membership under these terms and conditions.
If the applicant provides false information or is suspected of using another person's information.
If the applicant does not provide the required information requested by the Company.
If the applicant intends to use the service for illegal purposes.
If the applicant violates ThinkFamily's terms and conditions or related laws during service use.
If the applicant's application cannot be approved due to the member's fault or other violations of these terms and conditions.
If the approval is difficult or the applicant is deemed ineligible for membership.
If the applicant's use of the service infringes or is likely to infringe the Company's property rights or business rights.
If the applicant creates multiple accounts using abnormal methods.
The Company may classify members by grades according to its policy and may impose different usage times, frequencies, and restrictions on the services.
Members must immediately update their personal information if there are any changes. The Company is not responsible for any damages caused by delayed updates.
The Company may add, delete, or modify the collected member information according to related laws and the Company's privacy policy.
Article 6: Changes to Member Information
Members can view and modify their personal information at any time through the personal information management screen.
Members must notify the Company of any changes to their registration information either online or through other means such as email.
The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages caused by not notifying the Company of changes.
Article 7: Obligation to Protect Personal Information
The Company strives to protect members' personal information as required by the Information and Communications Network Act and other relevant laws. The protection and use of personal information are governed by the relevant laws and the Company's privacy policy. However, the Company's privacy policy does not apply to linked sites outside the Company's official website.
If the Company suspends services or the member withdraws consent for the provision of personal information, the Company will promptly destroy the member's personal information. However, certain information may be retained as required by relevant laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce Transactions.
The Company may collect additional personal information with the member's consent as required by relevant laws for service improvement and introducing services to members.
Except as otherwise provided by law, the Company will not disclose or provide any personal information, including account information, to third parties without the member's consent.
The Company may provide links or other methods to use the member's account information for convenience in future services.
Article 8: Member ID and Password
The management of the member's ID and password is the responsibility of the member, and they must not be used by a third party.
The Company may restrict the use of an ID if it is at risk of personal information leakage, is antisocial or contrary to public morals, or is likely to be mistaken for the Company or its operators.
If a member recognizes that their ID and password are being used by a third party, they must immediately notify the Company and follow the Company's guidance.
The Company is not responsible for any information exposure due to the member's fault, including account information.
Article 9: Company's Obligations
The Company shall make continuous efforts to provide stable services as stipulated in these terms and conditions and shall repair or recover facilities without delay if there are any issues. However, the Company may temporarily suspend services in cases of force majeure such as natural disasters or emergencies.
The Company shall handle any opinions or complaints from members related to the services if they are deemed reasonable and will inform the member of the process through email or the bulletin board.
The Company complies with laws related to the operation and maintenance of services, such as the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, and the Telecommunications Business Act.
Article 10: Members' Obligations
Members must not engage in the following activities:
Providing false information during application or change of member information.
Unauthorized use or fraudulent use of another person's information.
Changing the information posted by the Company.
Illegally obtaining information of other users.
Unauthorized collection, storage, or dissemination of other users' personal information.
Defaming or slandering the Company, other members, or third parties with false information.
Posting obscene or violent content deemed harmful to minors.
Criticizing or excessively promoting a particular religion.
Spreading false information and engaging in fraudulent activities.
Promoting or selling products prohibited from online sales under domestic law.
Selling or promoting contraband, drugs, or other prohibited items.
Engaging in activities that violate fair trade laws, such as hoarding.
Posting or promoting pornographic or adult content.
Posting or promoting matters related to entertainment or illegal activities.
Engaging in activities that could cause political or social controversies.
Infringing the copyrights, trade secrets, patents, or other intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties.
Distributing malicious code or data that causes malfunctions or destruction of information and communication facilities.
Engaging in other illegal activities as per current laws.
Violating additional guidelines announced through the ThinkFamily mobile application or online web page.
The Company may immediately terminate the membership of members who violate the prohibited activities listed above without warning and does not provide any compensation to such members.
Members cannot transfer, gift, or lease their service usage rights or other contractual status to a third party without the Company's explicit prior consent.
Members must comply with the laws, these terms and conditions, the usage guide, and notices related to the services, and must not interfere with the Company's operations.
Members cannot engage in business or advertising activities against the purpose and method specified by the Company without prior consent and must not infringe the Company's property rights, business rights, or business model.
The Company does not guarantee member information.
Article 11: Payment, Refunds, and Cancellation
Members can use paid services and can request normal processing from the Company in case of issues during the payment process.
The Company may cancel or restrict refunds for amounts charged and paid through fraudulent or prohibited methods.
The Company may change the functionality of existing services or make them unavailable according to policy changes during the use period of additional services.
Members may receive cancellations, refunds, and compensation from the Company for the following reasons:
If the service functionality available through payment does not exist (excluding temporary service unavailability due to regular system checks).
If payment is duplicated due to system errors by the Company or the payment agency.
Other cases specifically defined for consumer protection by the Company.
The procedure for refunds and cancellations is as follows:
Members requesting a refund must go through the verification process of purchase history through customer inquiries.
iOS: Attach a screenshot of the purchase history from the App Store without editing. Purchase history verification method: App Store > Profile icon > View Purchase History > Select the item for refund request.
Android: Attach the Order Number and purchase history without editing. Purchase history verification method: Google Play Store > Profile icon > Payments and Subscriptions > Budget and History > Select the item for refund request. The Company may request the receipt of the service purchase.
Refunds are made according to the refund policy of the platform where the purchase was made (Google or Apple).
Refunds due to user change of mind are not possible.
Refunds can only be processed if there is no usage history for the purchased item, and the member must attach the purchase receipt and payment information to the customer inquiry and request a refund.
Refunds for remaining usage periods of services subject to subscription fees are calculated proportionally based on the actual service usage period.
If the user withdraws after purchasing a ThinkFamily Pass, the remaining usage period is refunded proportionally, but refunds are not possible for consumables purchased additionally.
Refunds are not possible for cash items purchased for the purpose of using the service, and all service rights are not transferable or inheritable.
Refunds are not possible if the payment method is a prepaid card or cash.
Refunds are processed within 3 business days from the approval date, and the actual refund process may take longer depending on the card issuer, bank, or payment method.
Article 12: Compensation for Damages
The Company is not responsible for damages incurred by members due to force majeure events, such as natural disasters.
The Company is not responsible for damages caused by maintenance, replacement, or regular inspection of service facilities.
The Company is not responsible for service usage obstacles caused by the member's fault.
The Company is not responsible for loss of member's expected profits or other damages caused by service usage.
The Company is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any information, materials, or facts posted by members in connection with the service.
The Company is not responsible for damages caused by transactions conducted between members or between members and third parties using the service.
If members cause damages to others during service usage, they are obligated to compensate for such damages at their own expense and responsibility, and the Company is not involved in these matters.
The Company is not responsible for disputes between members or between members and third parties arising from the service.
Article 13: Service Use Restrictions
The Company may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member's use of the service without prior notice for the following reasons:
If the member violates the obligations under these terms and conditions.
If the member uses the service in violation of relevant laws or engages in actions that are against public order and morals.
If the member uses the service for illegal purposes or conducts activities that damage the service's purpose.
If the member engages in activities that interfere with the normal operation of the service.
If the member infringes the intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties.
If the member engages in activities that defame or damage the reputation of the Company, other members, or third parties.
The Company may immediately terminate the use agreement for members who violate these terms and conditions and will notify the member of the termination reason and date.
Members whose use agreement is terminated cannot reapply for the service without the Company's explicit prior consent.
Members who wish to appeal the restriction, suspension, or termination of service use must submit an appeal to the Company's customer service within 30 days from the date of the restriction, suspension, or termination.
The Company will review the member's appeal and notify the member of the review result within 30 days from the date of receipt of the appeal.
Article 14: Termination of Use Agreement and Withdrawal of Membership
Members who wish to terminate the use agreement and withdraw from membership must submit a withdrawal request through the service or through customer inquiries.
The Company will process the member's withdrawal request promptly upon receipt and notify the member of the termination of the use agreement and withdrawal from membership.
Upon withdrawal, the member's service usage history and personal information will be deleted, except for information required to be retained under relevant laws.
Members who withdraw from membership cannot reapply for the service without the Company's explicit prior consent.
Article 15: Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions and the use of the service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Any disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions or the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
The ThinkFamily service is a comprehensive platform designed to enhance family relationships through various tools and resources.
