I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in Accounting at Lancaster University Management School. I will be on the 2025-26 Accounting job market. My research interests include blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and their intersection with financial markets. I am supervised by Professor Igor Goncharov.
In addition to my research, I lead seminars in undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Introduction to Financial Accounting (ACF100 - Michaelmas Term), Issues in Auditing (ACF307), Managerial Finance (ACF100 - Lent Term), Principles of Financial Accounting (AcF403) and Advanced Financial Accounting II (AcF311).
Before joining Lancaster, I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business and a Master’s in Banking and Finance, both with distinction, at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In 2025, I received the Teaching Excellence Award and the Research Excellence Award from Lancaster University.
