Author's Note: I was going to say something, but I forgot what it was....
Oh well, hope you enjoy this chapter I made
<><><><><><><><><><><>
The chilly night wind gently brushed across the snowy moor, causing shivers to any creature it passes by. The creaking of hollow tree trunks resounded in the cool breeze as they swayed gently from one direction to another, seeming to be screaming at you with their ghastly appearances.
The highland was illuminated by the pale moonlight, casting shadows behind every objects standing in it's way. Dark clouds drifted by, occasionally blocking the luminescent glow from staring down to the ground and creating a temporary darkness on the highland
Amidst this creepy, yet beautiful scenery, two people stand across two opposite side of the barren plateau, staring each other down with unreadable expressions on their faces. One was a beautiful woman with bleach white hair and crimson iris in her eyes. While the other is.....
(Y/n), just your normal average Grimm being reincarnated into this world. There's nothing particularly special about him, but since he's the protagonist we'll just have to introduce him as it is. Currently he's observing his opponent with an analytical look on his face
He may look calm on the surface, but if you look closely, you'll see he is actually panicking inside for having encountered such a foe. His fingers are twitching, his foot are continueously shifting from one side to another, his entire body is sweating uncontrollably. Overall, he's an anxious, sweating mess
If you look at his opponent, you'll probably understand why (Y/n) is losing his shit like that.
Salem, the antagonist of the RWBY universe, the one who control the Grimm, probably the most powerful character in the show. He didn't know if the universe is trying to fuck with him or it's just his rotten luck at work here that he has to come face to face with her so soon. Probably a combination of both really
Either way, the system is totally broken, that's all he had to say about it

You have encountered a Boss, [Salem Lucifer]
Quest: Defeat her
Extra: Defeat her without using violence
Reward: 10,000 EXP, ???
[View Boss Stat]
'Yeah, like I really had a choice' I internally growled 'Nice try game, if I were to fight that monster I'll end up as nothing more than a bloodstain on the ground in no time'
'Let's just take a quick look to see how strong she is' I thought as I pressed the view stat button on the notification window
I wish I hadn't done that
Name: Salem Lucifer
Title: Deadly Sin Of Pride
Level: 500
HP: 800,000/800,000
MP: 3,500,000/3,500,000
Weakness: Pancakes, Holy Grenade, Vodka
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
THIS BOSS IS TOO OVERPOWERED!
Why do you want me to die so badly!? Also, what's the deal with pancakes and holy grenades? Aren't those weaknesses of hers too random?! Why didn't I bring pancakes with me?! What's the connection between Vodka and her?! Is she a drunk!?
No, no, I need to calm down. Don't piss yourself, (Y/n)! Hold it in!
Ignoring the way my instinct screamed at me to get on the ground and apologized to whatever it was that I've done to her, I steeled my face into what I would assume to be a neutral expression and held her silent gaze. It wouldn't be good to let your opponent get a read on you
Okay, so it seems I really couldn't fight against her, that much was obvious. Since I have no intention to die here, let's just play it safe and go with the diplomatic approach
Point is, I have zero experience about opening a conversation with someone, much less the queen of Grimms. Now I hate myself for not having practice social skills in my past life...
I discarded the idea of greeting Salem with a cheerful attitude. Last time it happened, the guard which I talked to almost faint from nervousness. No, the best approach to a stranger would be one with a reserved and subtle attitude in order not to make them shy away
"Salem" Of course, the most subtle approach would be to directly call that person's name to catch their attention first......
....In case you don't know, I was being sarcastic on that part
'Damn it' Once again, my social anxiety has gotten the better of me. Let's just hope she wouldn't get mad at me for calling her first name now
Said woman raised an eyebrow in response, although there's no apparent hostality in her eyes. Not yet, I reminded myself, it's more like she's eyeing me with curiosity instead
"(Y/n)"
"......." I made sure to keep my face as neutral as possible
.....Of course she knows my name. How could I have been so obvious?
I have wondered just why Cinder had showed up at this headquarter. Just why she is a Grimm. Just why she had asked me for my name when I released all the children. At first it just seems so strange that I'd almost thought I'm in an alternate universe of RWBY, but then I understand
The answer has been in front of me this whole time.
Salem had sent her here as a spy
It's natural for humanity's greatest enemy to have a few moles in their headquarter, right? I bet the children there are also her spy too, elite assassins disguised as innocents children. Something like that is completely within her range of predictable action
That also explains why Cinder's arrived just minutes after me. Salem sensed my presence and had dispatched her most trusted spy there to make sure I didn't ruin her plan. The Grimm children were locked in place, so they were unable to do anything about that
Of course, she must have predicted my action of setting the children free into account after witnessing the brutal treatment they were given. That's the reason why they'd gotten used to my presence so quickly: They have expected me to come
From the start, Salem had arranged for this place to be attacked. She'd manipulated my very presence as the main factor of it without me even knowing a thing. God know just how much she'd seen through my action
BOOM
An explosion rang out far behind us, followed by distant screams along with rapid gunfire shortly after. It seems those children had finally revealed their true identity and initiated the attack. Truly, to think that I have been deceived by their appearance so easily, I have severely underestimated her intelligence
Salem, just how much of this have you planned from the start? Just how much of a mastermind are you?
BOOM
Another explosion sounded off in the distance. This time, I glanced back toward the headquarter, where smoke had begun to risen in a thick curtain of vapor. It doesn't take a genius to guess who's on the losing side
"Those children are really good at their job, especially Cinder" I muttered, unknowingly causing Salem's eyes to narrow at the name
"You know her?"
Huh?
I turned to the woman, surprised. Just what is she trying to accomplished here? Perhaps she want to know if I've realized about her ploy? If that's really the case then...
No matter, I'll just have to play along now
"I....know enough"
If possible, the woman's crimson eyes glowed a deep red shade, as if she's being irritated by something. A deep growl escape her mouth
Shit, don't tell me I've unknowingly fucked up something without even knowing it. That would be the worst possible option in this situation
"I see, you're aware of her special trait" She finally calmed down, enough for this conversation to continue without turning into a blood bath, something which I'm incredibly grateful for "You also know about the other children, if I'm correct?"
"Well Yes" But actually no, I have no idea what you're talking about
"I take it that they have potential?"
Ah, I see it now. The woman know that I know that she know that I know about her plan, so she is being frank with me since there's no need to hide anything anymore. That makes perfect sense to me
She is asking about the performance of her own subordinates and my opinion on it. Frankly, I'd rather tell the truth then risk lying to her
"They have potential, but potential is all they've got" I'm not lying on that front. Those children were terrifying as they are, just imagine how much more dangerous they would be when they grew up
"I see, what you're trying to say is that they need more training" She nodded "With enough experience, they'll become an unstoppable force in the future"
"Exactly" I nodded along with her. If training with Murdoch and Alistair had taught me anything, then it's that an individual's prowess increase more quickly if they pushed themselves to their utmost limit. Like in a life-or-death situation
(Don't worry, I didn't actually killed them. I only pushed them into an active volcano once)
"Now with that out of the way," The air between us shifted "Just what are you trying to accomplish, (Y/n)?"
I can't say I'm not prepared for this
In the chessgame between her and Ozpin, I am a neutral piece which holds information on both of them, I am, as one would say, an unknown factor. I could be dangerous, I could be helpful, or I could be neither of them. Just like in the show, Salem's not ignorant enough to leave things as they be
Fate loves to punish those who took their chances
Still, I don't understand what I've done to guaranteed her of my presence. For all I know, I have been reincarnated into this world in an isolated area where even food are scarce. It's only been 19 days, there's no way she can noticed me in that short of a time
It's not like I did anything that would warrant attention, either. Well, except for that one encounter with Summer, but that's unintentional. All I did was hunt small animals to gain their abilities
...But maybe she is just that smart. We are talking about a woman who hundred of years old here, of course her accumulated wisdom over time would surpassed that of normal human beings
(I wonder if that apply to Ozpin as well. I need to watch out for him)
But, if that's really the case then my survival chance just dropped from 60% to less than 30%. I have to convince her I have no ill intention or else I'll be eliminated
"Peace. I want peace" I don't want to get involved with the villains or heroes, I only want to live normally without being bothered by anything. That's all I want, and that's all I will ever ask for. Maybe if she were to hear this, she would lose interest in me and leave me alone
Well, at least i thought so. It's worth a try, I guess
"You want peace?" Salem's tone is incredulous, like she could not believe what I just said "Many had tried that, and none had succeeded. What do you have that others don't to make you so sure of yourself?"
....
....Umm, why do I have the feeling that we are talking about different kind of peace here?
The woman stared at me, prompting me for an answer. I reluctantly responded
"Power"
It was just a simple word, but that's all I needed to say, and that's enough for her to understand.
We are both people with common sense here. We all know the basic rule of this world. As long as I remained a weak Grimm, I'll be trampled and slaughtered mercilessly without a thought just like those in the Red trailer. In order to survive, in order to be acknowledge, in order to live, I will have to be strong, stronger, and stronger. I'll keep training until I've become the strongest
With great power comes great authority, and with absolute power....comes absolute authority
"Such arrogant words for a child" I swear I could see Salem's mouth twitched upward slightly in amusement "It's no wonder your Sin is Pride"
Really? I think I would be somewhere between Greed and Gluttony though
BOOM
The third explosion rang out, loud and clear in the deadly silence of the night. Just as sudden as it's entrance, the eruption was gone in an instant, leaving behind the sound of rubbles falling in the distance
"I've originally intended to bring you back by force" I tensed "But it seems it'll be unnecessary after all"
She is saying that I'm too small of a nuisance for her to care about, so she'll let me live for now? Damn, what a merciful woman
A portal opened up behind her, to which the woman turned around and walked through. Before it can close, Salem glanced toward me with....pride?
"I wish you luck on your journey"
I see, you're warning me not to crosspath with you in the future unless I want to die? That's perfectly fine to me
Swoosh. And she was gone, leaving me alone in the forest
....

BOOM
Another explosion sounded off from faraway, but I paid it no mind. Instead, I opened the newly acquired spellbook with barely contained excitement
Time to learn some magic tricks
<><><><><><><><><><><>
It started with a flash, and ended with a boom
Multiple of them, in fact
The explosions didn't come from the children's bomb, nor from the soldier's artillery. It was from the spells she'd cast on them
Magic
It was a thing Cinder would never imagined existed, let alone for her to possess it. Really, this is a world of modern science and technology, where logic ruled supreme over the supernatural. Yet here she was, wielding the ancient power itself. The power which the Lady in Black has given her
No, it would be better to say that this power is unlocked instead of being transferred to her. All Salem did was break off the barrier of magic inside the girl to let it flow naturally
Apparently someone had intentionally blocked it off to ensure she was incapable of using it. The lady in black said he is the Wizard, no idea who or why he did that, but she'll make sure to get her revenge in the future
Well, back to he topic: Yes, she can use magic. Cinder was thankful that this thing doesn't need a chant nor an incantation to activate, else she'd lose her mind trying to spell 'Wingardium Leviosa' to get the desired effect, which will probably takes quite a lot of time (She's not Harry Potter, damn it)
Instead, all she had to do was imagine it in her head and mold her magic to her will. It gets some time to get used too, but once she does, Cinder realized just how much she can do with it
MAGIC. IS. AWESOME!
BOOM
EXPLOSION!
BOOM
EXPLOSION!
BOOM
EXPLOSION!
Cinder giggled as her target, a group of soldiers which is fending off their attack, blew up in a messy shower of blood and gore. Chunks of charred human meats as well as pieces of organs rained down upon the snow, staining it with a red-pink mix of color
She is definitely not enjoying it. Nope, not at all
Cinder just use it because this spell is effective against large group of enemies. She absolutely did not enjoy the look of horror on their faces as they watched their fellow soldier getting blown up. Nope, not at all
"Men, focus your fire on that girl" The enemy commander pointed his finger to where she's standing. All at once, Cinder found several dozen gun barrels being aimed at her
She was quick to react. A magical barrier sprung up around her and blocked all the incoming projectile. Some shots even ricocheted back to where they come from and ended up hitting other soldiers surrounding her
"Everyone" She calmly ordered "Show them what happens to those who dare to defy the Lord"
A hail of bullets rained down upon the soldiers, like thunders from the heaven. They fell, one after another, like puppets whose strings had been cut. Behind her, laughter could be heard as the smokes cleared, revealing multiple silhouettes moving toward her
Walking out was Glaz and his sniper team, along with Hibana and her Scout Divisions. They all stood beside Cinder. Like equals. Like Comrades. Like friends
"You mean OUR Lord, commander" Glaz said as he reloaded his rifle "Pay attention to details. A tiny mistake could change the dynamic of a whole picture"
"Details, details...Is that what you always cares about, sniper?"
"Me and the boys are also planning to reform the Soviet Union back to it's former glory and established world-wide communism, if you're interested you can join too"
"No thanks, Genocide is enough for me"
"I mean...what's the difference?"
"Good point"
"As much as I would like to participate in this interesting conversation" Hibana interrupted "I really think we should prioritize in breaching the outer wall before the enemies can use their artillery against us. We are currently having an advantage, so let's not waste it on chit-chatting now"
"Oh, no worries. I sent Tachanka to take care of them"
There was a pause as they simultaneously turned to her with incredulous looks
For her part, Cinder simply shrugged
<><><><><><><><><><><>
The Captain frantically ran down the hallway, jumping over debris and falling wreckage, all the while focusing straight ahead. His eyes glued to the GPS on his watch, where a green dot indicates his position, and a yellow one designate his objective, which is close by
Eventually, he rounded a corner and found what he is looking for: A masked figure in black coat slumped against the wall, his hands bound to the wall by some white substance that seems suspiciously similar to spiderweb
"Reaper- I mean Sir!" The captain shouted as he all but dashed to him "All you alright?"
"Apart from getting my ass kicked by a stranger, I am completely in good condition" He grunted in pain "I take that back, I am not fine at all"
The captain tried to pull the web out, but to no avail. Sighing, he brought out his gun and shoot them off
"Careful, you almost blew my hands up there"
"I'm very sorry, sir"
"You don't sound very sorry"
"..." He didn't say anything but pulled Reaper to his feet
"Status report"
The captain straightened his shoulder "Your suspicions proved to be correct, sir. The Atlesian Huntsman Headquarter has been founded to hold illegal documents concerning national security as well as conducting immoral experiments on abducted children, all of that done without any apparent permission from the government. Apart from that, there have also been traces of weapon prototype being stored here without consent"
He shook his head, as if he could not believe the place that was supposed to shield them from this world's darkness would do something like that
"The leader of this entire operation are two men. One is the commander in charge here, the other is someone named Dr.Evil, I have sadly found no trace of the latter, he was presumably missing, or worse, killed"
"I may have had a clue as to who did it" Reaper muttered
"Good to hear, sir" The captain nodded "Also, sir, these medical reports showed that the imprisoned children are all part-Grimm. They were reported to have started appearing in the wild about two years ago with no discernible reasons, many of which were captured and brought here unwillingly for researching. Repeated experimentation and enhancement has made them changed. Evolve, if I may say. It increased their intelligence as well as their physical prowess to a supernatural degree, far surpassed that of human"
"And now they are all let loose" Reaper rubbed his finger across his nose "Just how did those children escaped, anyway?"
"No idea, sir. The contraption containing them can only be turned off by an external source via a lever on the wall. No one but an outsider could have released them from their containment"
"The Grim..."
"Excuse me, Sir?"
"It's nothing" He waved his hand "You've done an excellent job of infiltrating this place, Captain. As much as I would like to compliment you, however, we should better off get out of this place before they can found us"
"Do you think this would get us a promotion from General Ironwood, Sir?"
"With the amount of shit we have to go through tonight, we better should"
<><><><><><><><><><><>
The Commander shitted his pants
In retrospect, the Author shouldn't have started with such a disgusting statement, but the Author doesn't care about that, because he's had no idea how to write a decent paragraph and he's a terrible writer so fuck him
Anyway, do people really shitted their pants when they're scared? Well yes, but not as often as you think. Unless you're trying really hard to hold in and something momentarily distract you, like, say, a jumpscare, then there's a slight chance that it might happen. Might. You can try this at home to see it yourself, just remember to clean up afterward. As long as you can concentrate, it should be possible to do so
However, it'd be very hard for that to happen under normal circumstances. You see, there's a part of our brain that controls reflexive muscle action that is always active whether you're conscious or not, think of it like an instinct to breath, they works the same way.
Moving on, that region of the brain also controls the sphincter's action. And by sphincter, I'm talking about the sphincter, the only one out of 60 of them that works involuntarily around the anus region. If anyone's wondering, a sphincter is a special type of muscle that constricts the flow of liquid and solid in the body passage. In this case, it lets you control the exit of feces from your body.
We don't need to constantly hold it in, because it's already been done unconsciously by our brain. As a result, unconsciously shitting yourself under normal condition is considered to be highly unlikely by scientist. Unless you experience a trigger reaction, such as being such a dangerous situation situation that your sense of fear overdrive this part of the brain
In other words, an overwhelming sense of terror, which is exactly what the Commander is experiencing right now
BOOM
An explosion rocked the platform he was standing on, throwing him off balance. His soldiers screamed and yelled. Gunfire blazed across the control room. Through his hazy vision, he saw a shadow prancing around the tables, decapitating his troops one by one.
It crouched on all four like a beast. Inhumane, unnatural, yet somehow terrifying. A glowing red eye peered at them through it's helmet
As the smokes dispersed, the Commander finally get a chance to take a clearer look at their enemies
And then he screamed
"MONSTER, MONSTER!!" He scrambled back "SOLDIERS, PROTECT ME!!"
With a snarl, the monster leaped between his forces and started dismantling them with bestial brutality, his gaze contains a dark promise of pain to those who attacked him
Crunch. One of them got his spine snapped, multiple times
Slash. Another went down screaming
Crack. And another one
Squelch. Another one bites the dust
As the commander watched the nightmare unfolding in front of him, he started having flashbacks about a certain folk tales in Atlas, a legend that mothers often tell their kids at night to make sure they don't stay up too late
It was a legend about a Russian Grimm Bear, whose ferocity outmatched the hungriest of predators, and whose strength are unrivaled among the local wild beast. Feats of it's legendary tales were still spoken in hushed whispers today, most of them thought to be nothing more than work of fictions
They say it once wrestled with Jesus Christ and won. Christ himself were so scared that he pretended to be dead for 3 days until the bear lose interest in him. Later, he would lost a bet with the bear in which the loser has to crucify themselves
They say it can drink hundreds of vodka barrel on a daily basis without getting drunk. The Bear once get so sick that it vomitted all the Vodka it'd drink into an empty hole, creating what we would call the ocean today
They say it can win a CS:GO game, even when it doesn't rush B and only with it's bare hands. The Atlesian it played with were triggered and reported the bear to the admin, but the admin himself got banned instead
There were many other accounts, one more absurd than another. As of now, this legendary specie of bears were thought to be extinct and unlikely to be encountered by any Huntsman
Well, 'unlikely' isn't the same as 'impossible'. Despite all odds, one of the most terrifying species of Grimm had appeared right in the base of it's natural enemy, and he just happens to be the unfortunate one facing it
It started standing up and walked toward his direction. In response the Commander tried to crawl away unnoticed under his desk, shuffling not-so-quietly along the wooden floor
BANG
The desk was abruptly kicked away. He froze in his spot, looking up at the helmeted boy. Blood is dripping from his hands, some of which were spattered on his helmet. The sight only serves to make his visage more terrifying than it already is
"Look, boy" The commander tried to bargain "I have no idea what you want, but just say it and I'll give them to you. Money, guns, girls, video games, I'll give you all of them. My job allows me to afford those things, you just need to spare me and I'll promise you anything"
Through the slit of his helmet, one red eye flickered, staring at him unblinkingly
"Deus...Vult"
<><><><><><><><><><><>
"So, did it go well?"
Tachanka shrugged in response to her question "They don't believe in our lord and savior (Y/n), as the heathens that they are, so I simply liberate them of their blindness"
"You killed them, didn't you?"
"I believe the right term would be 'liberated'"
Rolling her eyes, Cinder turned around to inspect the aftermath the battle. It wasn't much, the great building has now been reduced to nothing more than a corpse-littered wasteland with rubble and dust lying everywhere, as proof of the destruction that occur here
Perhaps she had used Explosion too much...
Nonsense, one can never have too much explosion. Explosions are fun
Shaking her head, she clapped to get everyone's attention. In less than seconds, the children all formed into lines with a militaristic neatness that is abnormal of children their age. Perhaps living most of their life in a science lab had changed their lifestyles, or they're just that disciplined
One can never know, this is Atlas after all
"Everyone" She said "We. Are. Free"
Silence descended upon them. The children are confused as to why she would make such an obvious statement like that
She smiled "Yes, I know that the result of this battle is clear from the beginning. We had numerous advantages, and we utilized all of them. Tanks, guns, bayonets, ambush, tachankas...It is clear that we could easily get out of this place"
"Yet, had anyone think about how we would get out of here without the government chasing our arses?"
"....." As her word slowly sunk in, everyone's eyes widened in shock
'CRAP, WE HAVEN'T EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT THAT' The children all shared the same thought as they turned to look at each other. Soon, a discussion exploded among them, arguing about the best way to leave this place
"...Umm, what about the Bullhead? There's one in the hangar near here" One girl hesitantly spoke up
"Too large and bulky, that thing will only slowed us down and paint a target on our back" Came the counter argument
"Then we can ride the snowmobiles, then? They're fast and light, and there's also enough for all of us" Glaz tilted his head at her
"Sure, but won't the government find 70 mobile tire mark all heading in the same direction after a battle such as this to be highly suspicious?"
"You're right, I suppose" He nodded "Judging from the smugness of your smile however, I trust that you have a solution to this, Commander?"
"Of course. Tachanka!"
""!!!"" They all gasped in shock as the helmeted boy walked out from the Headquarter, following behind him was....
"Are those freakin Nevermore?"
"Oh my fucking god, the Grimms are following him, HE IS THE PROPHET OF GOD!"
"Good job Tachanka!"
Said boy sheepishly scratched his head and looked at Cinder, who in turn just sighed. She glared at them, and silence descended once more upon the children
"I have a question to ask of you" She made sure to look at each of their faces "Would you make a deal with the Devil in turn for your salvation?"
"What do you mean, Commander?"
"I have met (Y/n)'s mother" She announced "She want us to work for him"
A string of gasps sounded in response
"Are you serious!?" Rather than being upset, most of their faces lighten up at the prospect of being able to work for their Lord "You mean we get to be his servant, for real?"
"Not exactly. We'll be taken in as apprentice. We will be trained by her, in other words"
"Oh, you don't mean-"
"Exactly, we will become his personal assassins"
"....." Thatcher seem conflicted "...Commander, what's your opinion on this? Should we follow him?"
If it was just him, he won't hesitate to join the Lord. However, such a significant decision requires careful consideration on their parts. It won't be good to regret their decision later on when they already made the deal
"I don't know" Cinder leaned back "It is your decision, your choice, your future, nobody can decide it apart from you"
"Well, if you say so then...." He hesitated "I'll join"
"Me too!"
"Heck yeah, count me in!"
A chorus of cheers take Cinder by surprise as the children all accepted with bright looks on their faces. In that moment, she realized something
These Grimm boys and girls are all just like her. They are isolated and hated ever since childbirth, they never experience joy or happiness and as such have nothing to live for. Their existence is, for all purpose, meaningless. They may as well have killed themselves if they weren't forced to be experimented on by the doctor
That's right, they are just like her. They craves for attention and love, like a child would to their parents. Maybe that's the reason why they have such strong emotions to (Y/n), because he's the proof that they matters to him, and they don't want to disappoint him by betraying his trust
It's the puppy syndrome, except these 'puppies' are all insanely strong Grimm Hybrid capable of tanking an entire battalion of soldiers, and the love they felt for him was worship instead.
Now that she thinks about it, it's kind of disturbing actually
"Alright, it seems everybody had made their choices" She shook her head to get rid of her stray thoughts and smiled "Let's giddy up on these Grimm baby and get the hell out of here!"
The children's faces were all smiles

Due to not possessing the [Caster] class, you can not learn this spell!
Would you be willing to pay 99,999,999$ to unlock the [Caster] class?
"God damn it!" I slammed my fist into the game window, effectively shattering it into pieces "Just when I thought I've won the jackpot!"
It seems like Lady Luck had gave me the middle finger again, how cold of her. As if that's not enough, she just has to rub salt into wound by asking me for money, the only thing that I don't have. Really now, why couldn't she find another unfortunate soul to fuck with and just leave me alone?
You may be wondering just why I get so worked up over something like this. I mean, why don't I just find someone with the ability to cast magic and eat them? It's simple, right?
Wrong (Trump's voice)
We all know the concept of magic is basically considered to be fiction on Remnant. Fiction is the same as doesn't exist/doesn't seem to exist. That bit of information is enough to say about the rare existence of magic caster in this era
The closest term to magic casting in the show would probably be Ruby's Silver Eye and Weiss's Glyph, which are both hereditery by nature
AND I'M NOT SO STUPID AS TO GO AND FUCK WITH THEM RIGHT NOW!
One is the heiress of a famous company, one which probably outmatch 99% of other corporation by net worth and fame alone. Just imagine trying to raid the SDC's compound and failed. I would probably be put in death row without hesitation!
Attempting to eat Ruby is even worse. The last thing I want right now would be getting Salem's and Ozpin's attention when I'm so close to the original timeline. I would probably ended up in an interrogation room with the Headmaster if I'm lucky, or I could join Lionheart in Salem's tentacle dungeon if luck failed me
The conclusion: Heck no motherfucker
"Arghh" I groaned "Just when I was so close...seriously, give me a break damn it"
Maybe...Just maybe....I should put this whole business to the back of my mind and go on a vacation. If I'm being reincarnated in this world, at least I should have some relaxing time instead of worrying about getting stronger all the time...
Yes, it's decided then
It's time for you to make your own journey into this world!
Choose your next location:

No matter how I see it, ??? is definitely not a good choice. i have a feeling I'm gonna die if I pick that
Vacuo is too hot. I don't want to have sand in my vagina, plus there's a lot of outlaw there. Terrible place for a vacation unless you want some tan skin. 100% not worth it
Vale. Forget about that, I can't stand being in the same city as Ozpin
Mistral. No, I don't want to get in their shady underworld. It'd be a potential EXP hunting ground for someone like me, but not a very ideal spot if I don't have money to stay
Menagerie. Seems okay, it has cat girls and shit. I would even be able to blend in with them due to my animal traits
....After considering the pros and cons of each place, I finally made a decision
Menagerie it is
You have chose Menagerie as your next destination! [In Old Blood We Shall Pay]
New Quest: Travel to Menagerie
Extra: Travel to Menagerie in less than 10 days
Reward: Fast Travel System Unlocked, 1,000 EXP, ????
Current Distance: 400,250 meters from here
Yeah, this seems like a good start. I have high hopes for this little vacation of mine
There's no way this could go wrong. It's not like I will become leader of the White Fang, right?
Right?
Right?

Author's Note: Annnnnnnd Done! Thanks for reading guys, really appreciate it when my readers are patient enough to wait for your update
Well, there's still one more thing I want to ask of you guys
What spells would you want (Y/n) to learn once he had acquired the Caster class? I haven't really thought about it, and a few suggestion would certainly help
Of course, there are certain rules to these sort of things, so make sure you read it before commenting:
1. The spell must be creative (No fireball or thunderbolt or stuff like that, just come up with something that you thought is unique)
2. There must be drawbacks to it, like huge mana cost or long charge time to avoid it being overpowered
3. It have to serve a specific purpose like offense, defense, or both if you want to. Utility and support spells are also welcome
If you have read all of it, then please comment your idea [Here] for me to read
