One step forward, one hand pushed up, five blood-red claws extended
"!"
Alistair leaned back as fast as she could, causing the attack to only graze her nose. She instantly bounced back up like a springboard, intending to counterattack with her own claw
Only for her face to smashed into his awaiting fist
"Kya!"
And with that she fell back again, this time out of pain. She furiously rolled around while holding her nose, tears were gathering at the edge of her eyes
"Wow, boss sure is brutal" Praised Murdoch from the side as he spectate the fight with obvious interest
I sighed and unclenched my fist, at the same time motioned for both of them to stand up. Soon after the pair were in front of me, waiting for my feedback
"Right, how should I say this?" I pondered for a moment "Each of you have your own pros and cons, so let's start with you first"
I turned to Murdoch "First off, not gonna sugarcoat it, you're impulsive and incautious. You charged straight at me the moment I blew the signal, not caring for any potential traps I may have set before hand. I don't know if you're stupid or just underestimating me, but make sure not to do it again. Secondly, Your combat style is in need of some tuning, mainly to take out those excessive movements in which you always overextended your attacks, it'll be fatal for you if we don't fix that soon"
"Aside from that, your physical abilities seems to be quite impressive, as seen that you've landed 2 hits on me during our fight. I only recommend you to train your reaction speed, that's all"
"Thanks Boss!" He seems to be satisfied with my assessment of him
"And you" I turned to Alistair "Your technique are as excellent as your speed. You rely on dexterity and strategical advantages to win over your opponents, which isn't exactly a bad thing. Only remember that the opponent can also use that same advantage to counter you, like how I countered your counter to my counterattac
"A tip to improve this is by going out of the norm to confuse your opponent. Be unpredictable, at the same time predict them, the enemies will took sometime to adjust to your style so you don't have to worry about it yet. But if possible, I'd recommend you to throw in a few feints, switch your attacking arms from time to time, change your stance suddenly so they won't have time to react. That's all I want to say"
"I'll work hard on it" She nodded seriously
I smiled at the both of them, before clapping my hands together
"Right, you must be hungry from all this training in the morning, huh? Don't worry, cause' I already got it covered" I said with a grin as I pulled out three rabbits from my back "Freshly hunted, processed right on the spot"
Two of the three rabbits in my hands vanished within seconds, gone into the deepest pit of their stomach, never to be seen again
I sweatdropped
"Anyway, let's take a break here, we'll continue on when I finished eating"
We're currently very close to civilization. After a night of continuous walking that is to be expected, I don't think I've gotten tired yet, but the pair seems to be really strained after walking such long distance. We've had no choice but to camp here and rest until the night is over
Since I've promised to train the pair, I had them sparred with me first to determine how to train them. From my conclusion, they seems to be somehow stronger than Grimm their age
Murdoch's fist can smash through rocks and sliced tree trunks open with ease, while Alistair is extremely fast, coupled with the fact that she can almost predict all of my movements before I even think about using it
Seriously, what kind of Grimms are you two?
Oh wait, I'm not in a position to ask that
I'm sure a normal Grimm wouldn't be able to unlock it's aura, either. I've tried it with the pair and they seems to be unable to do it the way I showed them. What a shame
Oh, talking about Aura, my Emperor's Aura just feels different, somehow. If the Aura in the show is white then mine is pitch black. If theirs are a passive defense then mine is an active one. As in, it attacks anything that tries to attack me. Luckily I can turn this off at will so nobody will be accidentally impaledAnd you just heard that right. This shit can be used for offense as well. Apparently I can control my Aura to an extent that they materialized into a solid weapon (I said weapon but it looks more like a black rod to me). I don't know which effects this thing has, aside from the fact that it doesn't have any noticeable weight. Looks like I'll need to make further testing to determine it's true capability
Aside from that, I have also experience an evolution by acquiring Aura. According to the system, I'm now an [Alpha Beowolf]. As a result, my physical attributes have increased by leaps and bounds, enabling me to sliced a boulder in half with my pinky finger, move at low subsonic speed, and run at the same speed for over 10 minutes without losing a breath.
I know this was supposed to be an Isekai but still, is it alright for me to be this OP considering it's only been ten days since I've came to this world?
Not that I'm complaining or anything
There's also several other improvements that come along with my evolution. For one thing, all of the skills I've learned had been upgraded to another level. The damage, range, duration, cooldown were noticeably improved. On the other hand, there's this
I ripped out the rabbit's head and crushed it between my jaws
You have learned [Double Jump]: Allow you to jump another time while in mid-air!
You have learned [Fall Resistance]: You received less damage when falling from a high place!
You have learned [Rabbit's Luck]: Your luck has been increased!
You have learned [Jump Boost]: Allow you to jump twice as high!
Yeah, now I can know how each skills works without any testing. It didn't show the other details though, so they probably will after I'd evolved again. Still, I'm grateful enough
"Boss, let's go! We can see the village overhead!" Murdoch yelled, pointing at one direction where there's a thin plume of smoke lazily rising up
"Coming, coming..." I replied lazily before getting up and joined them
It feels great to be an Alpha

Summer Rose shivered as she breathed in the cold air of Atlas on the ship she's currently in
Snows is piling up on her outfit, a black skirt with thigh-high stockings tucked inside a pair of combat-ready boots, all of them covered under her white cloak. Frost had begin to gather around the tip of her hood, the shadow of which is hiding her face from view
No matter how many times she'd went here, it always caught her off guard. One moment you're in the warm and sunny Vale, the next you're thrown into what could be one of the coldest place on Remnant. She always wondered about this abrupt change of temperature whenever someone crossed a region betweens Kingdoms
Summer would have taken the long route by train, but a surprise call from Raven had informed her that there's an evolved Grimm in that area, which is a shock to be honest
But what is more shocking is the fact that a Grimm healed her. A Grimm healed her. This is like the content of some bad joke Yang would make at family dinners. Needless to say that fact had piqued her curiosity.
Assuming the Grimm did it out of good will, then they'll have a potential ally against whoever it is that Ozpin was wary of. If not, well, her mission must be complete after all
She tightened her cloak against her body, trying to enjoy the little piece of warmth that a thin piece of fabric can offer her. Another shiver came, and the thought of returning home now, with her two daughters sounds tempting just enough for her to consider abandoning this mission. But she resisted it, reluctantly
"You... have silver eyes"
That statement made Summer snapped out of her daze. She looked to her left, where there's a person wearing a black cloak, their face hidden away from view. Judging from the two slight bulge on their chest area, however, proven it to be a woman
"Uh...Thanks? Who are you?"
The person's face is still hidden from view, but she seems to be smiling behind her hood. Summer could swore she saw a flash of red under it, like a spark in the darkness
"I'm Melas, just a worried mother trying to find her lost son"
