The clanking of utensils on dishes echoed in the empty kitchen.
Up on the nearby couch, Fou yawned. He coiled around himself and relaxed, watching his contractor interacting with the human that managed to peak it's interest
After she tried to kill him, the first thing they'd agreed upon is for her to join him in dinner. Over the period, they'd taken the time to make small talk with each other
"My name?" He pointed at himself, eyes narrowed "It's (Y/n) (L/n), but why are you asking?"
Start my free week
"Well I'm just an average Magus. There's nothing noteworthy about what I've done" Altrouge blinked at his reply
The Brunestud stared at him. mind shifting gear as she tried to comprehend just what his definition of an "average Magus" is
Surely it must be a code? A hidden reference to something akin to the elite Chelon Canticle unit? Her mind struggle with the notion of such a brand of Mages existing
If he's referring to the act of using a single spell to completely destroy a Dead Apostle Ancestor - a being capable of wiping out several groups of Enforcers at once - as "average", to what level would he consider himself to be "advanced"
Altrouge had a feeling she don't want to know about it
(Y/n) used the time to cast a minor appraisal on her

Well, she's certainly strong, and also possess Brunestud's Reality Marble. I could see how the girl can survive my attack
I subtly used Structural Analysis on it and replicate the thing, filling the information away for later use
"So now with dinner out of the way, and I've already confirmed you have no intention of skewering me on the spot, may I ask why is it that you've visited my humble abode?" I asked, gesturing to the room around us. It was adequate in appearance, about what you would expect from a middle-class family can afford anyway
Judging from the slight narrowing of her eyes, the Dead Apostle is probably inspecting the room for traces of magical residue and compare their property - a fine method to gleam information about my Magecraft and capabilities
The closest match she will probably find is the kitchen where I enhanced several ingredients for the beef stew - and judging from the crinkling of her face, the girl knew it too
"Initially, I came here with the intention of dispatching you" She started slowly "You may not know it, but I have the ability to see the future - especially when it comes to my kin - and I've already foreseen Chao's death at your hand, which is why most of us are concerned with your existence when we were notified of his death"
"Normally, such things would be considered a normalcy in our group, but it's the extraordinary way in which you defeat him that is worthy of attention"
She offered no further explanation, much to my confusion
"Precisely"
"But I only use Projection and some chant though?"
"Precisely"
She offered no further explanation, much to my confusion
"Regardless, your presence here means that you regarded me as a liability that will most likely be hostile to your kind?"
She nodded
"I am both honored and offended, did you really think I would go on and kill every single Apostle I meet?"
Regardless, it would seem wearing it in the presence of her race would clearly have a negative effect on their impression of me
She eyed my hand, to which I noticed the Burial Agency's ring was wrapping around my finger. Maybe due to not having the chance to answer Ciel's proposition the night before, I had subconsciously put it on ever since.
Regardless, it would seem wearing it in the presence of her race would clearly have a negative effect on their impression of me
With a laugh of embarrassment at my manners, I willed it away into my Inner World
"It's rather convenient to just sense when something's about to happen, huh?"
"The ability to see the future is a bothersome thing" She smiled amusedly "It shows you of what could and will be, but only glimpses of it. Personally I found it more of a curse than a blessing"

"(Y/n) (L/n)" her voice snapped me out of my stupor "What is it you desire?"
Indeed, not all people considers the downside to having too much power in their hand...
"(Y/n) (L/n)" her voice snapped me out of my stupor "What is it you desire?"
"A difficult question" I rubbed my head "What I want, I already have. I guess all I desire is a normal life"
Altrouge raised an eyebrow, wordlessly urging me to continue
"Here i am. (Y/n) (L/n). 16 years old with a passion for living. I don't have a girlfriend. My house is in the quietest part of Misaki town, where all the bookstores are. I study at Misaki Municipal Highscool, and I get home everyday by 6 at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally fancy a can of cola when I'm working. I'm in bed by 10 but always ensure that I always get at least 8 hours of sleep for optimal studying condition. After having a glass of warm milk and do twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problem sleeping until morning. Just like a baby. I wake up without fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there was no issues at my last monthly check-up and that my interest in weapons are not that big of a deal. Additionally, whenever I get myself into an undesirable situation, it is in my best interest to find a way to correct it" I shrugged
"....Excuse me?"
"I'm trying to explain that I'm an average man with an average mindset. I like to live a normal and quiet life. I take extreme care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society. That is what bring me happiness" I stopped "Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't usually lose to anyone. I am by no mean a fighter, but I have counter measures in case of an attack"
"I see, it's nice to know that" Altrouge sighed, placing the empty bowl of stew on the table "Disregarding how you go about your daily life, I can see why the idea of a quiet life would be enticing to someone of your personality"
It's refreshing in a way. Most Magus she'd met all want the same thing. Money, influence, power. Boring, mundane wishes. It almost made her pity them when they realized their mistakes at signing the contract she presented them
This boy. He is different. Someone who have such a normal, yet so abnormal a wish that she couldn't help but be surprised. The Princess is now interested, and in a good way
Her eyes sharpened "I assume you won't change your mind if I nominate you to be the Tenth Ancestor in place of Chaos?"
Silence
"I'm afraid not" His tone was bland, showing not a hint of interest in her offer "I take joy in living as a human. Being one of you will only make me encounter undesirable situations with the Church"
Left unsaid was Zelretch. Anything that might get him on contact with him is a no-no
"Aside from that, isn't there already another guy who'd take his place? That Louvre guy?"
"I see you are well-informed in our number" The girl grumbled "Louvre is not the most suitable of candidates. Arrogant, prideful, yet pitifully weak to our standard. I would rather have someone like you by my side than that man"
She paused, before smirking "Though knowing him, he will surely come to you for vengeance"
Mirth twinkled in her eyes, for a moment Altrouge seems as though she's entertaining a unknown possibility
"I'm afraid I've taken much of your time" She abruptly stood up, Fou jumping from my lap to her "It's been quite the dinner. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some business to attend to"
<><><><><><><><><><>
"Bye bye" I waved at the girl as she teleported away, Fou perching on her shoulder
Now alone to myself, the smile slowly faded from my face, replaced by amusement and contemplation
Truly, the chance to see and analyzed a Beast of Calamity up close is exhilarating, more so when there's a True Ancestor to accompany us.

[Millennium Castle Brunestud] (Incomplete)
Rank: A (EX)
Description: Type Moon's Reality Marble. A place of desolation and ruins after his defeat at the hand of the old Kaleidoscope. Yet the Crimson Moon never died. His legacy will live on in the form of his heir
- Unlike normal Reality Marbles, the Castle requires no Prana to stabilize due to their presence being accepted by the World, thus immune to it's corrective impulses
- 9/10 of the Castle's abilities has been sealed off due it's original rank being lowered
Willingly activate [True Alteration], I cast Structural Analysis on the virtual blueprint of the castle from her mind
As expected of a Type, it's complexity is truly frightening. Codes upon codes of ancient magic overlaying upon the fabric of reality, showing me just a glimpse of it's infinite potential as a top-tier asset
Nonetheless, one shouldn't underestimate the ability of a Divinity-enhanced Faker

"Oh so it also give m- THE MOON WHAT?!"
As a result of bonding with a source of near infinite power, 10 abilities will be given to you as long as you remain inside the Moon's sanctuary
"Why don't you just make me God already?"
The System chose to ignore the boy who's on the verge of a migraine. But it's only a tool, as such things like choosing is simply the product of a logical operation
- [Moon's Vessel]: Your magic reserve is increased by 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 Unit (Prana output remain stagnant)

- [Reality Eater]: The Brunestud castle has the unique ability to eat away other Reality Marble and incorporate their powers as it's own
- [Blood Moon]: Once per week, you may activate the Blood Moon Effect in the real world on all Apostles, greatly strengthening their abilities. It also serves as a passive ability inside your Reality Marble

- [Wacky Wizard Hijinks]: ???
I sighed
"Fuck this shit"
It's not like I can complain either. It's a pretty useful- No, it's an absolutely broken ability that can literally devour Reality Marbles themselves and take away their power. It's the kind of power that's so OP the author had to put some limitation on it to entertain the reader
But then again, this is the Nasuverse we're talking about
I held out my hand, the chant already forming inside my head
"I am the Bone of my Sword..." I said, not bothering with the standard aria "...Unlimited Blade Works"
A ring of fire erupted around me as the sky above me changed. An untold number of blades burst from the ground, their edges gleaming in pristine condition, displaying their full history before me
The world around me shifted, changed into a barren wasteland filled with nothing but weapons.
Swords, spears, halberds, daggers.
Countless blades with countless origins gathered, once wield by the mightiest of legends, now standing proud at my beck and call
Holy, demonic, divine, primordial
Countless blades with countless origins gathered, once wield by the mightiest of legends, now standing proud at my beck and call
The only difference between Shirou's Reality Marble and this one is the small crimson moon that hovered above the night sky. Standing on the ground, I could feel it call out to me. An ethereal whisper of a power from time ancients, that which sees all and know all
With but a thought, the mental link between us were severed
The fabric of space and time shifted. The Moon draws ever closer as it devoured the surrounding reality, until it is big enough to encompass a large portion of the sky above.
Under the moonlight, the armaments around me seems to have taken on a ghost-like quality to them. They glowed with a crimson light reflecting off their blade, bathing in the serenity of the Moon

I blinked, and willed reality to shift once more. This time I'm standing in front of the castle. The structure stood tall, casting a shadow for miles on end, while it's obsidian walls stretched beyond the horizon in a show of just how large it is
Walking inside, past past untold numbers of rooms, I arrived upon the middle of the vacant room, upon which a large throne made of stone is situated. Wrapped around it are two chains of different colors: One black and one silver
"Now, if it's true that Brunestud's castle is connected to the Moon Cell, and that it can combine with other Reality Marble like Unlimited Blade Works" I mused, sitting on the throne "What would happen if I combine every single Reality Marbles into one?"
It doesn't matter if I don't know how many exist. Right now, the Castle is connected to one of the most well-preserved information network regarding Earth ever known, The Moon Cell. It made a scan of the entire earth every nanosecond, so I doubt I won't be able to find any of them
All I have to do is shift through 10,000 years of Earth's recorded history, find and Trace and replicate, then incorporate them into this one. Since it has the ability to infinitely expand, I want to know just how powerful I can make my Reality Marble be
Bluetooth: On
Moon Cell Service here. How can we help you?
- I would like a list of all Reality Marbles within the accessible period of time if possible
There are 31 search results that meet your requirement. Do you want to perform integration of said Reality Marbles into your [Brunestud Millennium Castle]?
- Yeah, thanks
Begin merging progress
Before me, the land came alive. Mountains erupted from the ground, piercing the clouds over them. Ravines split opened, showing the deep sea underneath. Countless buildings took form, from tall solitary bedrock towers to large, floating golden cities that shone brightly in the night sky
The world rumbled. The boundary of reality surrounding it straining to their limit in front of the accumulation of power inside them.
But true to the Moon's ability, it managed to rein in the destruction by reinforcing the barrier between realities and began devouring them. An amalgamation of worlds appeared. Distorted, but beautiful in it's own right
God created the world in 7 days
I created one in 3 minutes and 11 seconds
Does that mean I'm the better Minecraft player than God?
Before long, a smile bloomed on my face as the reformation of the world took place
"A fine addition to my collection"
<><><><><><><><><>
Reality spun around me, before dissipating to reveal the real world again
As giddy as I was over the prospect of possessing something that will be of use in the future, there are things far more valuable taken from my encounter with Altrouge and Fou. That is..of course..something that will help solve one of my recently-encountered problems. Namely, Divinity
[Blood of the Beast]
[Blood of the Moon's Heir]
Two vials containing different-colored liquid appeared before me. One was a dark red - borderline on black - substance that radiates with malicious power, while the other is silver in color in color, containing the heavy scent of an alien existence in it
[Structural Analysis] gives me unrestricted information about everything I perceive, enabling me to use my Creation magic and replicate the composition of Fou's and Altrouge's respective blood into these two vials when I first meet them
[Reinforcement] with minor manipulation of concepts to purify said vital fluid unto their original form. Fou's into Primate Murder's, and Altrouge's into Type-Moon's. And thus, I've had the blood of a Type and a Beast of Calamity in my hand
Originally, I can create Elixirs and Potions that would suppress my Divinity or take it away in a short amount of time, but as time went on I realize this method is insufficient
While Divinity is a result of biological change taking place in one's body, it's main concentration is in one's blood. Having Divine blood allows accelerated healing at a rapid pace, thus I wouldn't be able to expel it from my system using only poison
In that case, what would happen if I were to combine Divine Blood, Beast Blood and an Ultimate One's Blood together using my body as the host?
The answer is obvious. I would return to being a Human. Permanently
I think
Due to the opposite traits and contradicting attributes of the owner's body, these blood when coming into contact will try to eliminate each other. My blood will start resisting the foreign substance the moment I administer them into my system, thus taking away all traces of them in the process
When I managed to successfully destroy all the liquid inside my body after getting blown up from the inside, I would be returned to my original state before receiving the Divine blood. That of a normal human with no special abilities and no special blood in him
Left unsaid, the possibility for failure is high. Should any of the blood remain inside, my attribute will change into that of the liquid. Meaning, just as much as I can separate my body from that of a God, there's an equal chance of me turning me into a Beast or a True Ancestor in the aftermath. Then I could also involve me dying from blood loss right after the transition
Thankfully, I've prepared some countermeasures
Using [Reinforcement] on normal drinks allows me to increase their nutritional value. The System weren't kidding when it mention the object will be ascended when it's properties are enhanced
You have consumed [Orange Juice]: Grants temporary invincibility and the inability to die
You have consumed [Apple Juice]: Grant increased luck for a short amount of time
You have consumed [Water]: Amplify all status effects on body and prolong their duration
This, combined with the two other blood will enhance their properties when coming into contact with the Divinity inside me, and ensure the success of this experiment
"Everything seems to be in order"
Grinning, I flicked off the cap on both side and downed the two vials in one gulp. I wiped my mouth, then waited for something to happen
"....."
"....."
"Wait, something's wron-"
The last thing I see is the world shutting off into blackness around me

Alaya blinked
It has a feeling it's forgetting something important again
At the same time, all the nearby Counter Guardians suppressed a shiver

Author's Note: You probably don't know it, but the Tsukihime arc is drawing to a close. I'm intending for it to end in the next 5-6 chapters or so, so don't expect anything ridiculous
This is a Fate fanfic after all
I am considering adding in some minor elements and recurring character from other Nasu work of course. Namely Mahou Tsukai no Yoru and Kara no Kyoukai, but it's unfortunate that I don't know that much about them
