Month 1 (December): Bun Khao Kam (Disciplinary Retreat for Monks)
Bun Khao Kam is a religious observance traditionally held in the first lunar month of the year. It is a monastic ritual conducted according to the disciplinary rules of Buddhism, specifically for monks who have committed Sanghadisesa offenses—serious breaches of monastic code. In the past, this ceremony was considered exclusively for the monastic community, and laypeople were not allowed to participate.

Wat Pho, Ban Non Than
Wat Pho, located by the side of Bueng Kaen Nakhon, is an ancient temple that has stood for over 300 years. Originally named Wat Tha Kaek, it was later renamed "Wat Pho" after the Bodhi tree within the temple grounds. The temple houses significant historical sites, including a 300-year-old Ubosot (ordination hall), a two-story new Ubosot, and the Phothisarn Pavilion, which contains the remains of Phra Kru Phothisarnkhun.
This temple also serves as a meditation center for the province and is open to visitors and those wishing to make merit 24 hours a day. It is an ideal place for those interested in religion and local history.
