The world of Shadewalker is home to a wonderous array of wild beasts who roam every corner of the world. Some are dangerous, some are peaceful, some are hunted and others are hunted. All are magnificent and inspire awe into all those they come across. Here is a selection of some of the beasts that call Olam their home.

The fearsome Wereboars are revered across the known world, and can primarily be found in Ailantus and Fosteth. Whilst they appear like herbivores with their cloven hooves they are in fact omnivores. Eating carrion and hunting their own prey. These beasts are solitary and irritable. However in the past these beasts were domesticated.
The Imperial Wereboar (Above) stands just over two meters at the shoulder. They are bred for war and their riders are typically the most seasoned and decorated warriors, as well as the royal family. These creatures are the symbol of the Empire and are renowned, and feared, across the known world. To ride a Wereboar a rider must first forge a strong bond with it, which can take months or even years. Once in battle these creatures can keep their cool in the heat of battle, tackling enemies and crushing them in their jaws.

Dragons are easily recognisable thanks to their large wings and reptilian appearance. They come in a variety of forms and sizes, the Ailantus Dragon (Above) stands only 110m at the shoulder, average in size for a dragon. This species in particular are crafty and frequently raid farms for livestock, burning their prey and carrying it off to consume elsewhere. Only males possess the blue markings on their faces. The Ailantus Dragon can be found across the continent.
All Dragons can breathe fire, this is thanks to the sigil for fire being etched into their skulls which gives them the ability to cast fire from their mouths, making dragons the apex predators of any habitat they call home.
